The Amazing Race All Stars -- "Oh My God, the Teletubbies Go To War" -- 04/29/07

yeah, that preview bummed my wife and me out, too. I wouldn't say we're rooting for the BQ's, but they've been extremely positive to each other this entire race (and last season, too), and that's always obvious and nice to see. hopefully that's just creative editing?

Win or lose at this point, Charla and Mirna are already the victors of this Race in a purely spritual sense. No surprise that they were the only team that leaped at the chance to do the humanitarian Detour, despite the fact that they knew their task would probably take longer than cleaning the plane. You can accuse them of not being as crafty as the other teams, but it shows that they're not simply all about the money and would rather help someone in need even if it means they have play catch up later on. No surprise that they were rewarded for their generosity by finishing in the top three, while Danny and Oswald were once again tripped up by their bad Yield karma.
Danielle has a nice rack.

Perkinsun Dzees, your posts always crack me up. I'm glad that you can see the humanitarian side of Charla and Mirna.
And we all know that you think Danielle has a nice rack!

So in an "All-Star" season we end up with a final three where I only really like one of the remaining 6 players (I like Dustin; I tolerate Kandice). The rest are insufferable. I'm not sure I even want to watch the final. Hopefully, Mirna/Schmirna will win so I can enjoy Mirna simultaneously martyring herself while patting herself on the back. The deserve to win because their such great people in race full of "dirty pirate hookers".

I don't plan to watch the finale either. Don't like any of them but Charla. I find it more fun to watch the edited out scenes than the actual show. I wish they'd put out more of the seasons so I could see these bits.

- Anybody else notice Phil had a big smile on his face when one of the BQ's said we love toys.
Well the the only team left that i wanted to win just got eliminated. even if Danny and Oswald beat C&M to the mat they still would have to have takin' a 30 min. pen. which would probally have eliminated them anyway.
I really don't care who wins the race now. Charla is alright but Mirna annoy's the hell out of me.
E&D can fall off a cliff for all i care & even through the Yield Queens are pretty annoy they are probally the ones i want to win even through i don't like them.
I say just give the Million to Phil.

ok, they were acting like the "humanitarian" challenge was such a huge feel-good thing.
um, it was a training exercise. They weren't actually dropping supplies for anyone - plus, charla and mirna were just throwing crap in the box. I wonder how many things they broke...
now, it would have been cool to go up in the plane. but to act like you're kind-hearted and giving because you did that challenge? Please.

At first, I thought that the "humanitarian" challenge was faster but I was wrong.
I can't believe the lack of hustle displayed by Danny in that GPS challenge. He showed no hustle whatsoever.

"You can be in the Navy and have cute nails!"
It really bothered me when Mirna and Charla asked for directions to the Guam Naval Base and told the bystanders it was a matter of "life or death", and then that made the woman run out so they could follow her there. That lie should bring bad karma I think!
