I didn't get the lavish praise for Chris; thought he was pretty weak
I thought Blake cracked a little too. Assuming he survives, he needs a really good song choice next week.
Yes, it's ironic that so many guys have survived, even outnumbering the girls last week (if you count Sanjaya as a guy).

I don't think Jordin will sell a lot of records. I don't think any of them will sell a lot of records. I also predict that the AI6 contestant with the best-selling debut album will be Sanjaya.

I think Sanjaya has a career in TV, Nick Jr., Disney etc, he is a mild recording artist for bubblegum crap from those shows, but he is a TV star at this point, and will stick around for awhile.
Melinda seems like a Jazz singer with a relatively minor career, but she can carve out a Cassandra Wilson type existence, and thats not a bad thing
Lakisha can have a career as an R&B Gospel recording artist, I think she will stick, but she will not be huge, record selling wise that is.
Blake can have a minor career as well, I can see him easing into TV, Internet and Music. He won't sell a lot of records, but he is a likeable personality with some talent.
Phil's 8 lives have paid off as Country is his found niche, also a great area to release a record if you are not winner, see Bucky, Gracin, Pikcler and of course the big Kahuna Underwood. He will have a nice career, and since he has the best male recording voice, he may sell his share of records, he's alright to listen to, just don't make me look at him.
Chris R will be leaving soon I would think, I do not see much of a career from this guy in terms of music or personality.
Jordin. She will win this year, and surpass Taylors record #s. She is so young, her career should be pretty solid with many eyes following her progress. I don't expect Underwood type success, but I think she will be pretty solid, and her likeability factor lends itself nicely to crossover to TV. She will be very easy to market.

Definately think Sanjaya will stay around. Suggested roles for sanjaya include as a host of some variety show on disney/nicklodeon/Noggin etc. Or maybe be a sidekick etc for a high school show.
There is talk of him being included in the Time magazine 100 most influential people, and also rumors that Sanjaya might be in People Magazines 50 most beautiful people, he was also named as the VIP at the WHCD.
current reported offers:
Hannah Montana on Disney
Reported endorsement offers from: KFC, Gap, Suave, H&M
Reported amount of offers: 15 million

Jordin was by far the highlight of last night's show. I agree it's hers to lose at this point. Randy really overhyped her performance. I thought it was excellent, but not the best ever. I never saw Season 1, but that Kelly Clarkson Respect performance that was posted above was pretty damn awesome.
I think Jordin will have some good record sales. Definitely not Clarkson, Underwood figures, but better than Taylor Hicks, Diana DeGarmo and Justin Guarini.

Most shocking elimination yet? Does that mean Melinda goes (that's the only scenario where the results will be truly shocking). Hopefully it will be Lakisha instead...

The only elimination that would be considered "the most shocking ever" would be Melinda. Jordin is going to win, but at this point Melinda is still the perceived favorite, so she's going. Why the hell did they give that away?!

how about no elimination? Idols gives back so they don't kick anyone off even though Lakisha should get the boot.
