Melinda won me over tonight. When Jordin sings those emotional songs she makes me cry. I dont get the love for Chris, he's ordinary. I like the tone of Blakes voice. Phil doesnt do anything for me, but he has gotten off 2 good weeks in a row. Think its time for Lakisha to scream her swan song.

I think Jordin has tipped the scales to her. She's lights out. Melinda is "ol reliable", but not exciting.

I caught just five minutes or so of it. It's boring without Sanjaya. Of course he wasn't the best singer... but he was definately one of the best performers.

Speaking of Sanjaya, he was on David Letterman a night or two ago reading the top ten list of "Things I Learned From 'American Idol":

The list, from 10 to 1:

- The camera adds 10 pounds to your mohawk
- Work hard and make sacrifices, you can finish in seventh place

Randy, come on. The best vocal EVER in SIX seasons of Idol? Dawg, keep it real man. I mean it was good, but watch what you sayin'. It definitely had the YO factor going on tho. Jordin easily outdid everyone else tonight. Melinda was second for me. Then Phil.

Now Simon, I believe. How Jordin took a 60 year old song and made it sound new... "I think you could have a hit record with that, I really do."

So Jordin wins? I agree with the others. A guy will NOT win. Melinda and Lakisha are too same old same old. Jordin wins by default. I think guys can vote for her cause she's the hottest girl left, and girls will vote for her cause of her age and her personality.

Back in the top 24, weren't we all saying the guys suck?? I'm kind of surprised this many are still around, quite honestly.

Why couldn't tonights episode be live? Was it because of the taped segments they did? Thought they'd be crammed for time?

Is the results show live? I guess I can't imagine it not being. I hope it's an enjoyable two hours. I normally skip results night, but I kind of have a hankering for watching it in HD. I hope nothing else is on.

Blake has a great voice but the last 2 weeks he picked 2 songs where he really could not show it. Anyways Lakisha needs to go because Im sick of hearing her sing with a mouthful of tongue.

I've come around on Jordin and I like her and think she is going to win, but did not care for that song this week.

But I really did not care for anyones song last night. Boooring show, ugh a few more of these and we'll all find something else to watch. The show is really become a bore.

For next season we need to at least ditch Paula, please.

The DVR will be all fired up to fast forward a lot of stuff tonight.

I think I am done with AI for this season, never liked Jordin and well .......sorry , I dozed off for a minute there.... with the exception of Melinda, the rest are not even entertaining, let alone outstanding singers.
