I must say, I did enjoy munching on a big bowl of popcorn while watching this episode.
What are the odds Kate and Cassidy meet in Iowa? Juliet seems to be the trojan horse, but I guess we'll find out in due time. Why doesn't Kate simply ask her how she/they know so much about Jack and the rest of the Losties? Stuff like that just makes me roll my eyes with this show. The Hurley-Sawyer subplot was a little cheesy, but did undercut the tension with the Juliet-Kate subplot. Those ladies look damn good in mud, was hoping for a mud wrestling fight, but it was not to be. |
like I predicted, I thought that was a snooze fest. I hate Kate's backstories.

Jack didn't need to give Kate the cold shoulder.
Any chance they kill Locke before the season finale? |
Anyone buying that Juliet doesn't know much about Smokey? Smokey scanned Juliet, moreso than Kate...hmmm...

I think they know a little about it but never actually encountered it.

Good episode but really hope that's the last time we see Kate's mom.
|
This episode is much better than last week with Nikki and Apollo, even though I did enjoyed that episode too in an entertainment way.

Maybe we're to assume that's what the Losties figure as well? |

So first Ben uses Kate to manipulate Jack, and now he's using Jack to manipulate Kate? Something along those lines... I hope Juliet is really being outcast, and isn't just being put there as a mole, that'd be way too obvious. Sayid will surely figure it out - has he been wrong in reading somebody yet? |
All complaining aside - I have loved the addition of Elizabeth Mitchell. She's the only quality addition that they have made since Eko.
|
I said the same thing to my wife, to have Juliet as a mole is too obvious.

An okay episode. It seemed more like one set to connect two big plots together. Locke leaving with the Others now after they brought his dad to the island and told him about Kate and probably everyone else.
It will be interesting to see if Juliet is just a spy or if she's really been 'banished' from the Others. Hopefully it's not just being a spy because it would make her story progression a waste of time. |

And I agree, Juliet's character has been a great addition to the show. |

Those four better bring the survivors back to the now-empty village.
But you know that they won't, because that would make too much sense. Just like letting other people know some of the interesting things that they have learned during their travels around the island. |

But since you are the spoiler king, I'm guessing you know who's backstory it actually is next week. |
