It seems the US (or part of it) did retaliate with ICBMs, right? So while it seems it was done internally (from what we know, anyways), they seem to be holding another country responsible?

That's true - I had forgotten about that.

In any case, having not seen the previews for this week, I was actually disappointed that the story of who attacked and how the U.S. retaliated wasn't true. (or as the faux-rines said, some of it was, some wasn't) It'd be nice to finally have more of an idea as to what the hell's going on outside of the Kansas sticks.

I just remembered Gerald McRaney used to be Major Dad. That's probably where he learned the difference between hooah/oorah.

the flashbacks the last few eps as to how she ended up in Jericho has made it a little more clear why she was upset all the time but even now many of her reactions sort of over look the whole "we have been nuked" issue.
I fulled expect here to pack up, storm out and then move into some abandoned home like two blocks over. heh
as for the show over all, it's much better now then it was in first few eps. Even if it's still sort of BS that every time they head out of town, into the waste land, they tend to take the worst of the worst cars they have in town. Take the new truck? Nah, take yellow 1960's the beater truck they "hope" can make it.. meh..

Well the truck that ran them off the road last week was a newer (last 7 years) Dodge.
