Me, too. I was glad to see that this freakin' weather we are having didn't interrupt ABC30's OTA-HD signal.

Obviously, I liked it quite a bit and I'm geeked that they wrap this storyline up before LOST comes back.

I knew it wasn't a good sign when I thought it felt like it should be almost over and I checked the clock and we were only 40 minutes in.

I did think it picked up towards the end, but I'm glad it's not a full 22 episode season.

I thought it was pretty interesting, and I am looking forward to seeing the variations of the days he experiences. The fact that he wakes up with the wounds from the previous "day" is an interesting twist too...I guess he won't try to kill himself over and over again.

Of course, a part of me wants him to realize it's Feb 2nd and that this is all happening because a weatherman in the midwest can't figure out how to love somebody else.

I haven't read the comments yet, as I've only seen the first 50 minutes of this program. I'm liking the pacing of the program so far and it feels very intense.

But.......


what is going to kill this show is the FUCKING commercials, every 10 minutes. ABC is doing the same with this program that they did with Lost. I couldn't believe that on a premiere show that there would be the first commercial after 9 minutes. What happened to having the first commercial after 20 minutes on a premiere show?

I have to say that the number of new days over two hours was a little much for me. I think the show would have seemed a lot fresher with the one hour debut. It's damned funny to me that the debut episode of this show gets the two hour treatment that the LOST folks wanted, though.

Despite the repetition, I'm planning to check this out for at least a few more episodes. I think it will be much easier to watch when there is only one or two of the same day in an episode.

Well, I seem to be in the minority here, but I did like this show. Maybe 2 hours was a bit too long, but not by much.

But once again those numerous commercial breaks ruined any flow that this show has. I don't mind ABC paying the bills with 18 minutes of commercials per hour, but don't break it into 6 commercial breaks. There should be no more than 4 commecial breaks per hour. Make the commercials longer, but don't ruin any suspense that is building up.

Not bad.. I like the cast a lot and the first ep was pretty good.. The problem for me was the back to back 2nd ep. I made it about 20mins in and it was getting a little dull..

I think much like Alias this is just one of those shows that works better with a week gap between eps.. I'll keep watching for now..

of course it was a little funny to see Taye Diggs try to tell his girl friend what was going on with the day repeating, the whole time not being able to fall back on what most of us here would do.. as in just saying "Ya know, like in Groundhog day"..

You could just feel Taye trying to say it but he couldn't.



I thought the first 2 (or 3?) episodes were excellent. Can't wait to see more of this show.

Yeah, that scene was completely ridiculous.

I wasn't too thrilled with the show. Diggs's approach to the situation seems to be "run around randomly each day and see what happens".

And I'm getting sick of shows where the villains are some sort of all-powerful conspiracy where everybody's in on it, and members of the conspiracy can show up anywhere at any time.

Correct, and 12:01 was much better IMHO (they both came out the same year, 1993, but 12:01, a TV movie, was filmed first AFAIK). But before 12:01 there was the superb Oscar nominated short film 12:01 PM (1990) and before that there was the short story they were both based on, 12:01 PM by Richard Lupoff, way back in 1973.

I only got to see the first half, but I thought it seemed interesting. At least, more interesting than I had initially given it credit. There's nothing else that I watch on Wednesdays now that Lost is gone, so I'll probably tune in for another week or so to check it out.

I really liked it but can't imagine watching it in real time with all of those commercials. It certainly has a "24" feel to it where the hero pieces together a bit of the puzzle each new day while getting his butt royally kicked in new and creative ways. There had better be a real payoff at then end of this run however.

Oh, and I'll keep watching just for Moon Bloodgood.

I liked it a lot. 2 hours is too much though. Maybe because it was so late or that I was tired. I'll defintely keep watching.
Although I'm sure it will happen on the last "perfect" day, it was nice to see him think of himself (like most people would) and try to save his own butt instead of running around and saving the coffee shop girl, his sister, his partner, and his girlfriend.
I'm not a big Taye Diggs fan though. Adam Baldwin, as always, plays a great jerk.

Interesting, but too much too fast in too little time. Feels very TNG "Cause and Effect" instead of Groundhog's Day (since Taye is trying to not come to the same outcome, whereas Bill Murray was just kind of wandering aimlessly).

from what i saw, it was pretty good. it did move back and forth pretty fast like devilshalo mentioned.

I like it and found it intense/enjoyable. I can't say too many bad things. I even liked the editing style. Sort of a Man on Fire thing going there.

I really enjoyed the whole cause and effect in the show--like the woman hit by the bus. When one day would end, I would get a little frustrated as I felt that there was something more to build on and develop, but 2 minutes into the next "day" I found it interesting again to see how he would attempt to change the events of the same day. I thought him trying to drive his girl out to the middle of nowhere was a nice "next step" to attempt to change the fortunes of that day.

That's what makes it so hard to distinguish ads for this from ads for Deja Vu when you're only half paying attention.
