I'm tempted to watch it even with an already overloaded Tivo schedule, but I'd prefer something that I know is going to end. If it were a simple one season series, I'd be right there. The premise here just doesn't reassure me that I won't get hooked only to get halfway through S2 when the plug gets pulled. Of course with the premise wearing thin by then, I'll be begging for an ending (like I was starting to feel for ALIAS last season).

With this statement, you've basically revealed that he's not the only one aware of the repeat.

I'm looking forward to this show, I like the "reliving the same day" premise.
And for those who think this is a ripoff of Groundhog day, that movie wasn't the first with the concept, 12:01 existed before it.

Looking forward to this tonight. The producer of this show seems to hint in this article from Zap2it that this show has a multiple season story arc:
On Wednesday, Nov. 15, ABC premieres the first two installments of "Day Break," a 13-episode thriller about Los Angeles narcotics detective Brett Hopper (Taye Diggs), who ends the worst day of his life by waking up and realizing he has to live it all over again in new and increasingly dangerous ways.
"The season is a day," creator Paul Zbyszewski says. "So in 13 episodes we have a payoff, a big payoff. The following season would be another day. It could be three months later, it could be six months later, the point being that Hopper would be at another crossroads in his life, different set of circumstances, and chaos happens."
So is Taye Diggs supposed to be the Groundhog Day version of Jack Bauer?

It's good to know that they are wrapping up his 'worst day' in 13 episodes.
There is nothing worse than giving an hour a week to a series and watch it be cancelled before things are resolved (Kidnapped, Vanished, Wonderfalls, The Fugitive, the list goes on and on).

I really like what FinkPish had to say. I was debating on checking this out simply because the premise didn't feel ripe for a full 22-24 ep. season, but 13 I can handle. Only thing is, the premiere is 2 hours starting at 9 PST 9 (oh no!) and I'm an old fart at 33...need my beauty rest! bah! phooey!
