Best episode so far, imho. I actually prefer less Tracy Morgan, so the focus on Baldwin & Fey was better.

Favorite line: In five years we'll all be working for him. Or be dead by his hand.

Great episode, this is seeming to find its stride. Loved the Tracy Morgan line about the "Texas Doozies" version of poker with all of the wild cards and "2s are 5s" (or something like that).

Also, the giant shrimp, made out of shrimp, and diving into a bowl of shrimp.

It's a shame that that whole scene was almost entirely stolen from a Sex and the City scene involving Miranda's self-Heimlich Manuever ("Four Women and a Funeral" S2).
All I could think about was that episode of Six Feet Under, where the woman cooks a TV dinner, chokes on it, dies, and nobody realizes it for a week. And then the mom gets all paranoid and lonely. Think that was after the Sex in the City bit, but I never watched SitC heh.

I can't believe there has not been 1 direct reference in this thread to SotL or Baldwin's Hannibal Lecter impression. Awesome stuff!

Did you miss the whole "Bear/4 Bears vs. Killer Robot" bit at the start? That had me laughing more than anything I've seen on SNL or Studio 60.

"...and if it helps you.....I would let you..do...........stuff.....to me."

That one had me doing a double take.

Didn't think Fey had it in her to pretty much carry an episode.

I wasn't crazy about the pilot but this episode made me a believer. I'm not sure if it will be able to hold its own against CSI and Grey's Anatomy once it moves to Thursday but I'm hopeful.

Well, it isn't holding its own against ANTM, that dancing show, and Jericho. It will at least benefit from a lead-in with a smallish but devoted audience this way.

According to tvguide.com, last night "Soon-to-be-relocated 30 Rock (6 million) anted up 150,000 more viewers versus last week, while the soon-to-be-MIA Twenty Good Years (5.4 mil) surged 400K."

I'm sure with a better lead in like MNIE and The Office, will help this show grow, that is unless NBC pulls the plug.

I thought the schedule was My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs then 30 Rock. So technically, Scrubs is its real lead-in. A two-hour no-laugh-track comedy block? Hoo-ray.

I'm not too worried. The show should do ok when they move.

It was about 30 seconds, totally inconsequential to the rest of the show.

Spoiler:
BTW, did anyone else catch when the producer running through old boyfriends of Liz he mentioned a tall gangly fellow who kept playing guitar named Conan? Conan O'Brien appears as the ex in an upcoming episode.

Funny, I thought of "Six Feet Under". It happened to one of their clients and Ruth got a freaked out about being alone for the rest of her life.

I guess this is a common fear for women....

When is this show being repeated? I enjoyed it so far, but can't catch it on Wednesdays. Can only Tivo Jericho and was out of town on Wednesday.

I have really enjoyed this show.

I thought that was hilarious.

I'm really liking this show more and more. I can't wait for it to move to Thursday.
