I'm liking the pairing of Jimmy and Chloe. However, I don't know how long I can stand seeing Lex/Lana together. They need to kill Lana, quick!

Not being rude, but I'm going to quote DVDJosh here:
Don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you.
It's seriously enough with the shit about ["i hate so and so"....I'm sick of this person or that person", etc.]. You've been with the show [for] years. You know what it's about [...and how it's formated].
No it's not the best show on TV, but those of us watch it like it for what is it. Personally, I think there are enough small things I like about an episode that how they apply to the larger story/concept of Smallville that I keep watching and enjoying the characters.
I'm not trying to be bitchy so please don't think that. I want to come here and have conversations about the show and characters; not a compalints session. Complaints are fine though as long as they are constructive and accompanied by some positive things, but if you truely have given up it's been nice discussing the show over the years with you, and we'll catch you on a season long discussion if you choose to go with the dvds, or we'll just talk to you on a thread for a differen series.

This was quite possibly the worst episode of Smallville that I've ever had to watch.. Why waste one of the things that came through the phantom zone and this villian? She was an afterthough to the show. The acting was also very subpar.
The one bright spot I think is Oliver Queen. I'm really liking his character.

Time for this show to call it an end.

After this episode, I absolutely cannot wait until they get rid of Lana. I still like Kristin, but the writers have turned her character into someone I absolutely despise. The sweet girl next door from the 1st couple of seasons is dead and buried.

The show was fine. The main villain arc was sort of an afterthought, but everything else was terrific.
Yeah, I wish the writing were a bit better, but the characters and the actors generally make up for it.
I also like that everybody is hooked up, and Clark is the odd man out. It's nice to see him without a love interest to pine for.

How many villains went through the Phantom Zone? Was it 5? I kind of like the concept of Clark having to rid Earth of the Phantom Zone villains, I just did not like the execution of the last epsiode.

I really hope it ends this year. It's obvious they've ran out of ideas. Numerous guest stars this year,

I've heard the ratings for this and Supernatural are considered very good for The CW.
I've believe Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are planning at least 1 more season after this. But you never know, The CW may keep the show longer than that.
Also, has anyone noticed that Clark has stopped attending classes? Same with Chloe and Lana.

MetU was damaged during 'Dark Thursday'. Lana said it should reopen after the second semester. Let's see if the writers remember that.

I don't know if it's just me, but ever since Clark and Lana did it last season, Lana seems obsessed with always having a man by her side and getting laid.
I agree Lana and Lex doing it is just wrong.

I WANT to see notable DC-Universe characters on this show. The kryptonite FotWs were fine at first, but he's getting older and I have no problems with him running into the big supervillians and meeting his friends earlier.
Honestly, what would you like them to do instead?

The only problem with them throwing all these other DC characters into this show is that it is making it more and more improbable that this version of Clark Kent would be able to keep his identity secret. I know the show won't really have to address it since they don't plan on showing him becoming Superman, but it's almost impossible to think that, by the time Clark does become Superman, it's not going to be hard for people like Jimmy and Lois to know who Superman really is.
