Cool. Let us know when they put up the rest. I think I read that they were giving out the first episode for free last month, might be still in the free section.

definitely would love for some screencaps of the episode.

did the cheerleader fall into the pole or did the guy 'accidently' push/throw her into it?

I can't remember exactly when in the episode, but I saw the symbol as a doodle on the cheerleader's notebook paper, if I recall correctly.

It was written on the spine of her Biology textbook in her locker.

MY THEORY

1. The cheerleader cant regenerate with brain injuries until the object is removed.

2. The ring found in the desert IS FROM DL, Ali's ex who she killed...the boy acted like he knew where his father was because he WATCHED his mother bury the body and many others, which is also why he could sleep through the whole episode, he's been there before

They're laying on that symbol pretty thick, aren't they? Hopefully the characters acknowledge, if not explain, it pretty soon. We don't need another two seasons of figuring out what the numbers symbol means.

My guess, like others have had already, is that it is half of a double helix since the explanation for these powers seems to be genetic evolution.

#2 is pretty good theory. It explains why Micah got all quiet when she asked if he knew where his father was.

well played. this makes sense when coupled with his reaction when talking with his mother about his dad's location.

"yawn, ho hum, mom's just out back behind the car planting another couple of guys. back to sleep"

That's it. Just couldn't remember exactly where it was.

I think in general she has to remove things, put things back in place to aid the process along. In episode one, her ribs didn't begin to heal until she pushed them back inside first.

So the guy who plays the dead father/professor/author is the guy who's been in The Mummy and 100 other shows/movies right? If so, clearly
Spoiler:
that character isn't really dead, because they wouldn't cast a known actor for an offscreen part
Spoiler:
and I think he's Sylar. It would explain the 2nd map and the "forgive me".

Hands up -- who else thinks hot short-haired girl = Sylar?

Not me. I think she's a plant with the agency that the cheerleader's father
and the guy the cop passed out in front of are part of. She's there to get
Mohinder to decipher the code on the portable drive.

I actually thought that same thing last night, especially when Mohinder brought the cops back to the apartment. And if she's not Sylar, then I think she either works for him/her or has her own evil(?) intentions...

I like that idea. Maybe he found a way to steal the powers of the people he was originally trying to find and study. If he turned out to be Sylar, then that would probably mean that cheerleader's dad is actually a good guy. Of course, they've already turned her dad into an evil cartoon who's just short of growing a moustache to twirl, so that 'twist' might not be all that believable.

On an unrelated side note, it seems really, really unecessary to spoilerize people's theories unless they're based on some piece of info that's coming directly from someone associated with the show. Personal speculation is not a spoiler.

Really nitpicky... but was anyone else bothered by the first few seconds of the show with the "Previously on Heroes, five strangers from across the globe..." and they went on to show 7 people (6 at minimum if you count the brothers as one)? Is it that hard to count?

Anywho, just an okay episode. Thought last week's was better.

das

It's like the Simpsons.

I want to know why can't Ali Larter continually be in a stripper outfit.

Since the producers have chosen not to do that, I just record the show and watch the Japanese dudes when they are on - the only good part of the show.

Question:
Who did the Cop shoot in the Basement when his partner was holding the gun to her own head?

I thought that was Sylar?

Me and the girlfriend are loving this show. Watching the cheerleader with her chest opened up like that at the end was pretty gruesome.
