I'm digging the EVC's new locks. She looked great.

Bright and Hannah continue to be the best part of the show.

The best thing about the ep was that Ephram was noticeably absent. Then the whiny little bitch came back at the end. I didn't care for him last year and I remembered why as soon as he was back on screen.

Nina's lips looked bigger.

I thought it was an enjoyable episode. Glad to have the show back.

Bright was again bringing the funny.

"I make a mean falafel".
"Uhhhh.....I'm considering going vegetarian" --

And when Amy called him "Narcissus" he said "Hey, I told you to stop insulting me in Spanish."

And when he told Amy: "Just tell me what flight she is on...and what time it lands...and anything else I need to know to pick her up at the airport....like, where the airport is." That was a great delivery.

on Emily Van Camp...

Otherwise an okay episode. I probably enjoyed the Bright segments the most. The rest was just wheel spinning, more or less. I am looking forward to the eventual Andy/Jake clash. I'm curious what they'll even do with Ephram at this point.

Sad but expected news:
CBS increased its lead at 9 p.m. with "CSI," the night's most-watched show at 17.0/26. "The Apprentice" kept NBC in second, improving some over its premiere last week. ABC held onto third with the premiere of "Night Stalker," 4.8/7. "Reunion," 3.0/5, kept FOX in fourth, beating out the season premiere of "Everwood," 2.5/4, on The WB. UPN trailed with "Eve" and "Cuts."
The only good news about that is Just Legal only pulled in a 2.0/3 in Everwood's old timeslot, so hopefully that will get pulled and Andy & crew can go back home to Monday.

I must have seen something different. She is still rather beautiful, but her make was overboard. Not sure what look they were trying to go for, but it seemed completely unnatural.

Otherwise fine episode. Didn't dislike it as much as some people. It should get on a roll in a week or two after clearing up the "what happened since the finale" muck.

"I have a crush on a gay guy."

lol

When the nurse guy told Bright about his partner, my wife and I missed the real reference until Bright got that OMG look on his face. Then we were . That was great!

Bright is still the brightest part about Everwood.

Does anyone think maybe the guy isn't gay? I was wondering if perhaps he meant something else by "partner" and maybe this will be a Three's Company style misunderstanding.

I think he is gay. When Bright was confessing to him that he was really waiting for his best freind to get his stuff together and come home and move in I think the new rommie felt a bond and told him about his partner.

If he isn't gay, then a whole lot of hilarity is going to insue.

The dude is gay. They made a point of making that clear in the season preview they aired last week after Smallville. My only question is why does Amy give a crap? She thought he was a cute guy, found out he was gay, and is STILL going to obsess over him? It's not like she has any emotional attatchment to him at all. She just had a crush, which is real easy to get over.

Everwood
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Someone needs to punch Ephram in the throat - the character is dragging this show down horribly. They have turned him into such a brat that I don't think that they can reverse the process. I look forward to parts of this show every week - every part that he isn't in.

And EVC just may be the most gorgeous woman on television right now.

Ok, somebody refresh my memory...why did Ephram break up with Amy last season, besides the fact that he was just a pink panty wearing whiny girly bitch? What was so horrible about the break up that they can't even seem to make a go of it now, and Amy has to keep pining for a GAY GUY???

Good episode, though. Now let's just hope it moves back to Monday night if it's true Barely Legal is cancelled.

If you're seriously asking, it was because she knew of Madison's pregnancy before he did and didn't tell him.

Yeah, kind of flimsy if you ask me.

Oh, yeah, that's right. And that's why I forgot, it was a lame ass reason and points to Ephram being a whiny bitch.

What happened to Amy going to some east coast Ivy League school? Seems like they're just veging out. Everything about the show is boring me atm. The only interesting bits are the scenes with bright.

mmmmm Amy.
B&H were funny ... All I heard was Virgin

Harold and the Dominos. Someone on the writing staff needs a vacation. It was neither funny nor clever. You could see it coming a mile away and was a waste of the best actor on the show. Why put us through such a horrible segment.

As much as I would like to take Ephram down a peg, I think the writers are trying to show how Bright and Amy have grown and Ephram is still a kid. There will probably be some moment of epiphany down the road. Although the check on the counter was a gesture of realization that he was behaving badly.

Rose's cancer convinced Amy that she needed to stay in Everwood to help take care of her.

I don't know if I mentioned this last week, but I'm enjoying the addition of Hannah to the show more each week. More often than not, I can't stand additions to an already good cast a few years into the shows run, but her addition has been a home run.

Anyone notice how fast Andy wrote that check. He scribbled two lines at light speed. When they showed the check at the end it was meticulously written out.

Not being picky ... just thought the way he wrote it was funny. Had they written it out slowly as most people writing a check would, we would have been sleeping. Of course he would get to the end make a mistake, VOID it out and re-write it. Five minutes later he hands it to Ephram. That is how I write a check.
