How can people that watch this show not get that Colbert was making fun of media hype?

It cracks me up that shipping this small bit of plastic is more expensive than buying one.

That's why it makes sense to buy a couple and give them out as gifts or something.

Colbert has taken on almost a god like status. He can get bridges in Hungary named after him, take down telephone circuits and Wikipedia and even fight Darth Maul all through the power of his audience.

He has the popularity and power that a guy like Howard Stern had in the early to mid 90's.

He's not up to Stern........yet, but he has a hell of a following. I need to start watching him more often, I only catch him once in a blue moon.

Well, he talked about Iran's president speaking at a college here in the US, so I'm pretty sure it was a new episode.

Thanks, I was able to record the replay. I have no idea why my guide is not listing Monday's as being new shows. I checked next week and it's the same thing.

I would kill for a "Better Know a District" compilation.

I'm sure it'll have a few of those "District" segments, but it's only one disc, so they can only fit so much on there.

I'm trying to find a clip, but I'm not sure if I remember which show it was from. I'm pretty sure it was Colbert Report where they did a spoof timelife song duets with ahmadinejad and some other foreign leader. All the songs were like Endless Love and all that. Can anyone confirm having seen this somewhere? Did I dream it? Thanks for reading.

I think it was him and Putin, I remember seeing that as well. I can't swear it was on the Colbert Report but I'm not sure where else I would have seen it.
