I didn't hate SG-1, and I wasn't mad it was an emotional episode, but I think I'm upset that it wasn't resolved better and now Tealc is actually 40+ years old.
Also, I did not like the way in which Daniel told off Valla. Then BOOM let's get all smoochy and feely. It just didn't feel right. At least it isn't all still true if you will. I hope they don't take Daniel and Valla down that road again.
I always thought Jonnas was the cure for the Asgard. Guess not.
Hopefully we'll get to see some of what their knowledge and secrets were in the movies.
Atlantis was great! I was expecting city to stay submerged and then that would be the cliffhanger. Instead we're treated to a very suspensful summer. I hope the show doesn't change too much next year, especially since I feel like the show is finally coming into its own and the cast is gelling. Also I feel the writers are finally starting to writer for the characters and make them consisten. I''ve especially found Ronin and Tella much less annoying the second half of this season.
I'll especially be bummed if Elizabeth is now gone. You could see how the relationships have progress based soley on the scene in her office about the mission reports.
Please tell me Jewel Staite is now a regular!!!!!

Jewel Staite is now a regular. Now that's a Staite of which I'd love to be a citizen. (Ahem.)
SG-1's finale was pretty much channeled from ST:TNG's "The Inner Light", with Teal'c as Picard. It celebrated more the group's camraderie rather than give a slam-bang ending that's being held for the first DVD. The show finale was emotionally better than I thought it would be, but could have been a lot better storywise.
What did everyone expect? SG-1 is Joe Sixpack sci-fi. And that's not an insult - it makes good with the battles and explosions, and can get philosophically and scientifically deep sometimes but doesn't wallow there long. The show has a higher than usual entertainment level - pick an ep at random and chances are you'll have a good hour of the tube.
The worst part about this season is that the Ori threat level was never communicated well - when a character's priority is going to his high school reunion, or the two women on the team can afford a day of "pedicures, mochalattes, and Victoria's Secret", that takes the wind out of the "Ori are the major threat to our galaxy" sails. But still, the show's been enjoyable throughout.
And yeah, Higginson is leaving the show, but I can't tell if she left or was fired. Rumor is that she'll be back as the "Special Guest Star" a few times.

SG1 = Great episode but I didn't care for it as a show ender. For show enders I want respect giving to as many people as possible. I thought it was poor ending to the Mr Greys but the new tech is a good trade off.
SGA = Great episode. Looks like they are setting up for Higginson leaving the show. That's to bad I was really digging her as of late. The good news is Jewel from firefly is now on the show in all her cuteness. The story was just great even though I hate the robot people. That portable stargate laser weapon was just great. I wonder if they still have a budget left.
I heard rumors about a stargate universe series in work. Don't know if it is true or not.

I thought the Stargate SG-1 finale was fine. With as many cast changes as this show has had, I think it's tough to give a good sense of conclusion. I did think Daniel's tirade against Valla was over the top, but Daniel has shown that he is perfectly capable of being a real dick every once in awhile. Or maybe that's just my impression.
Atlantis was pretty good. I for one can't stand the Wraith (boring, bland enemy) and so any episode without them I tend to give more points to. I still think Teyla is the worst main character of either of the shows. She's just incredibly dull. Ronon is growing on me—slowly.

The commercials showing Tapping in SGA said September. So, only 2-3 more months. Not as bad as the break between BSG seasons 3 & 4.

Sort of mixed feelings of SG-1's ending. Wish the Ori threat was ended (Unless Universe deals with it). Also think that O'Neill and Hammond should have been in the episode. Maybe have them on the ship due to the Asgard requesting their presense. Also, where did the rest of the ship's crew go to? Once time stopped, they were nowhere to be seen (except the birthday scene). They could have done the normal 'walk by in the hallway' appearences. Otherwise, a good episode.
SGA - Is Weir's actress leaving? I thought it was Taala that was leaving.

Spoiler:
If they do end up with a new series I hope it is truely quality. It's not that I don't like Atlantis, but with both of the series running at the same time I think each suffered somewhat in it's own way. I think SG-1's biggest hit was the budget, which it had to sacrafice to SG-A. That in turn didn't have the writers or developed cast work that SG-1 one did.

I actually feel that SG-A is finally coming into it's own, especially if they can continue to develop characters and KEEP those traits. My biggest complaint here is McKay. He's screwed up so many times for the group and for specific individuals/friends, but he's still too arrogant at times and makes you think he's just the same even after he's appologiezed and seems to have changed.

Carter will be a full Colonel in SG-A, and become Sheppard's commanding officer.
Stargate: The Ark of Truth is the first movie and concludes the Ori storyline.
Stargate: Continuum is the second movie and deals with Baal's capture and upcoming execution - but, of course, it's not that straighforward. It involves time travel and bringing back some fan favorite characters, even some killed off in the show. RDA will be back for this one, and one filming location was a U.S. Navy Applied Physics Lab Ice Station inside the Arctic Circle. (Oh, and the Navy lent them the fast-attack sub USS Alexandria for shooting.)
This movie is supposed to whet fan appetite for even more SG-1 direct to DVD movies, and possibly be a launching point for the next series, Stargate Universe.
I've heard the same rumors about Rachel Luttrell (Teyla), but nothing significant. Her pregnancy will be written into next season's storyline.

Her pregnancy will be written into next season's storyline.

Including having to talk via a blinking button.

I believe it is due to post-production and CG effects work.
