I thought it was okay. If this was the regular tv season and something else was on that I watched I doubt I'd watch it again but there isn't so I will give it a few more episodes.

Lana Parrilla doesn't hurt either

It didnt make sense -- everyone was out spending money BEFORE the winners were officially announced and they could have gotten their check. (The girl who gave $20,000 for the woman's operation, the other girl going to the car dealership.)

Use a credit cards, down payments, etc - I don't see that as unrealistic.

I knew what to expect from this show, basically a soap opera, but I really wasn't wowed by the execution of it. As others have said, there are some really good actors in this one, but the first episode was just average. It's fortunate for the show that it is premiering at a time when there are very few new shows, so I'll stick with it for a couple more weeks and see how it develops, and I'll bet that there will be others who will do the same just because there's nothing else on.

I've got this one my SP so I'll watch it when I can. It was okay... but that kid with the Russian bride is going to blue balled so bad from this, I can just tell.

Oh, and long live The Last Don!

Does anyone know the song that was played when Luke Perry had the carnival in his back yard? I suppose i should have asked earlier when the still hadn't shown it like 4 times last week.

Man, this show reeked. It would have been far more interesting with say 5 winners and giving them some time to flesh them all out some. The kid was pretty funny in buying a bride and living in a posh suite, but the whole "Daddy doesn't understand me" crap was afterschoolspecialese. It seemed they were more interested in making music videos of their cast in overdramatic, dimly-lit set pieces than say, telling a story. "Windfall", meet "Reunion" in the Good Concept-Inept Execution Graveyard.

didn't like it much but it's still better than watching re-runs so I will check out 2 or 3 more episodes.

The premiere got decent ratings. It will be interesting to see what kind of drop-off there is tomorrow.

I'm sure that's a DVR or Tivo like box, but what is an SP?

The second episode wasn't all that great either. Does having lots of money instantly make you a total dullard or neaderthal?

Already was repeated three-four times on NBC then at least two more times on Bravo. Probably won't be repeated again unless Bravo shows a marathon the day of the season finale.

You can get a recap of the episode on their website at http://www.nbc.com/windfall

You know it's pretty bad when I knew what the resolution was going to be for the 20th person to step forward and lay claim to their share of the lottery winnings, and having the money frozen by legal manueverings until the delivery woman was "stripped" of her winnings. It was painfully obvious how it would be resolved. I barely recognized Nikki Deloach (previously blonde on "North Shore") as the 20th person wanting their fair share.

The rest of the subplots are pretty uncompelling or just plain dumb. If the Braves were more compelling on TV, I'd pay full attention to them, but it's a tough call to have which playing in the background.

I am still watching. If only for me to be agape at how much worse it can get every week.

Is there any storyline more ridiculous than than dude with the two sisters? He hooks up with one sister who disappears and them immediately gets with the other sister? He's not even hot.

I think this show missed so many opportunities to be good. It was really lacking the "fun" element in the beginning. These people won the lottery and their lives instantly started to suck. They really should have the first few episodes show more of the fun aspects of winning the lottery, with them spending the money on crazy things.

I think the only interesting character is Galina, but now that storyline is kind of dead since Damien has hooked up with Frankie. And I have to laugh at the casting of Frankie-- her mom is black but it looks like they just took a white actress and slapped some self-tanner and a bushy wig on her to make her look mixed race.

i totally agree with you. Frankie looks/acts stupid. Why would Damien stick around? If I were him, I would buy my own place and party all the time.

I also agree with Galina being the most interesting character, at least for the first few episodes.

Is there any word on if the creators plan on wrapping up all loose ends? or do we got a cliff hanger that will never be resolved?

I dumped it a few episodes ago. Even when I did watch it, it was more of a background program. The only storyline I paid attention to was the teenage guy and the Russian bride.
