This is only the second episode i've watched of this show (this week and last week), i never saw season one so keep that in mind.
Is it just me or is Chris Porter so far ahead of everyone its not even funny (pun intended). The guy makes me laugh everytime he's up there. Everyone else can't even get a smile out of me. Its just my opinion, i know, but my wife agreed with me (not that she counts, just saying). Was last season like this? |
Roz was a totally unfunny heckler. All she did was shreik, "Where da jokes, BITCH!" She didn't heckle so much as just drown her out.
Gabriel was the best heckler with his obnoxious Max Cady laughter. The two eliminations were the correct ones. Chris Porter is indeed the funniest one so far, but he was in a no-win situation with having to heckle Josh Blue and it showed. Josh: "Your mother must be so proud." Chris: "Your mother is proud. Of me......for last night." Not exactly quick on his feet. |
I must've missed something last night. Will some please explain to me why Stella & Michelle, who had 8 unique votes against them, only got to choose from 4 other comics to take to the challenge? What was the deciding criteria for who those 4 candidates were?
I don't even remember if they voted for each other, but that would still leave 6 cadidates if they did. |
pinata242, I was wondering the same thing. Maybe a coin was flipped and they just didn't show us. But either way, it was an odd choice.
I'm shocked the older gal got 83% of the votes. I could have maybe seen her winning, but the wide margin shocks me. I would have thought April would have at least got 25% or so. Joey Gay is an idiot. His logic about the heckling made no sense. This is a competition, stupid! These are set-up challenges with audiences who are in on the gag... it's not like you're sneaking into one of their paid gigs and punking them. His rant when he placed his vote reminded me of Lex from Survivor crying about being lied to. I actually thought the short girl's "Mo' nique!" heckle to Roz was hilarious. |

Oh, I forgot about the immune people. Ok, that makes sense, thanks.

Maybe the crowd saw some 'funny' that we the home audience didn't get to see, but just from what I've seen so far of Roz, she is one of the least funny people in the house. Chris |

• Charlie Goose • Roz was a totally unfunny heckler. All she did was shreik, "Where da jokes, BITCH!" She didn't heckle so much as just drown her out. Gabriel was the best heckler with his obnoxious Max Cady laughter. Good to see the two most annoying people gone on the first episode. Holy crap, Stella's not funny at all. The heckling competition is probably the funniest thing this show has done in a few seasons, which isn't a particularly high bar to surpass. das |
Roz isn't funny. Her heckling wasn't funny. The best female in the competition from what I've seen that is left is Kristen.
Porter is hilarious. Blue is kind of funny. Most of these comics suck. |

In this case, Stella & Michelle were tied so they were able to pick from the group that voted for either one. |
Didn't read the whole thread, but I've seen Roz on BET Comic View a couple times, doing the same jokes I might add. Doug Benson (who didn't make it into the house) is known for his one liners on VH1's Best Week Ever. Gabriel Inglacies like mentioned earlier was on a Comedy Central special. I agree, it's kinda shitty that they but all these people on here that have obviously already made it somewhat big.

I thought Gabriel was the best heckler.
I think that Joey Gay is a jerk. He won't make it to the top 6. |

I thought the Blue/Porter combo was pretty funny - especially when Blue was heckling and Porter was doing his act.
Roz wasn't funny. Yelling "bitch" at someone isn't funny by itself. Glad Stella's gone. I was torn between Michelle and April, but April's stupid faces turned me against her. |
Even though she was the hottest in the house, I am glad that April is gone, because of the stupid contorted faces she would make, to let the audience know when they were supposed to laugh. It is similar to the short brunette that practically does aerobics during her set.
I think that this was my favorite challenge so far for this series, but I hate most of the comics on it. I'll probably tape the episodes, and fast forward to the challenge portion, just to see how the bad blood plays out. |
