He said "I love your hair."

It looks like Miles probably used some magnetic device to scramble the recording. Mile sucks...totally.

One would have thought with the ten minutes or so, that recording would have been transferred to a computer and the such.

Any computer experts want to chime in?

I still have no idea why Jack never just played the stupid recording on the cell phone for CTU to hear. Lame plot device to keep it being the only thing possible to bring down Logan for Palmer's murder. BTW, where the hell is Wayne?

something along the lines of (i'll get this wrong)

[the thing about you lying to me is] "I can't believe how long you've done it. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm so horrified to be married to you, I'd be impressed."

Exact wording (since I'm in front of the DVR): You know what really gets me Charles? That you had me going for so long. I had no idea you were such a good liar. If I wasn't so horrified by the fact that I'm married to you I might actually be impressed.

And here's a pic of the Halloween pumpkin keychain that Miles used to erase the recorder...

He's heard the recording. He will likely play a vital role when he fully recovers in the next hour or two.

Why does Miles always sound like he's impersonating Jame 'Buffalo Bill' Gumb from Silence of the Lambs?

George Costanza probably did when they worked together for the Yankees.

Or was that already a Seinfeld reference, and I missed it?

The pres is going down:
Either a copy of the recording has already been made or Heller/wife/others will bring the president down.

As soon as I got that recording I would have uploaded to the pc and made a bunch of copies and stored them on various drives all over the place. I can't believe Chloe didn't seem to do that (perhaps she did). I do that with my own work simply because I'm so paranoid of a hard drive crash or accident.

Yea, my thoughts exactly. If it's something at that level of importance, I would want everything there to hear it first before running a security of it.

Agree w/ the others that not making copies of the recording since much earlier is a major plot hole.. well I guess they need new suspense and plot devices for the remaining eps... and w/ the driver of that convoy, that adds a very large number of moles/corrupt guys on the inside. And in the preview Robocop says it goes higher up or something.. ok so higher than the prez.. I guess Satan must be in charge.

I guess we're supposed to believe that Miles intervened before Chloe could copy the recording to her laptop. Possible, but not plausible. Which pretty much sums up 24.

Plot hole aside, it was another great episode. I think Gregory Itzin just clinched his Best Supporting Actor Emmy.

Yeah, the fact that this single piece of evidence can bring down the POTUS, one would think Chloe's workplace would have 2 or 3 guards with instructions not to let anyone other than Karen. One more forehead slapping moment.

But Miles will get his commupance... at the hands of the almighty Jack Bauer. Someone mentioned Wayne Palmer, one wonders if he'll kill the Prez to avenge his bro.
