I was really surprised that Dana gave respect to Tito for training his guys so hard at the end. I know there's a lot of past heat there, but good for him for actually making the right analysis. Ken just looked like a sore loser that whole series, he barely trained them and brought no help. Tito's 2 trainers would have done a better job coaching Shamrock's team, I just don't think he really helped any of those guys over that 6 weeks. Not to mention, how many of his damn team quit? Christian, Tait, Kaleb (I still fully label him quitting), at the very least he's a poor judge of talent.
I went in rooting for Shamrock and came out hoping Tito beats his ass into true retirement. Shamrock always says he "makes" guys like Tito by losing to them, how long can that be true, or was it ever? Was Rich Franklin not going to be a star if he didn't pummell Shamrock? I just thought he was very low class and not tuned into training.
But Bisping has been my pick throughout and he seems to only get better. I can't f'n stand Ed, but it looks like he's got Kendall beaten, I just hope Kendall trains like hell and comes in with a little more muscle on him. Big respect to Ross for me though, fought and trained hard both fights, jumped weight, and took the fight on almost no notice. I hope they reward him with a shot on a prelim PPV or something like that.

Tito acted like an ass, doing a gravedigging mime while Mezger lay on the mat unconscious, and then donned a shirt that read ""Gay Mezger Is My Bitch" which sent The Lion's Den into a rage.
Over the next few years, Tito became the UFC poster-boy, while Ken Shamrock sorta' left the Lion's Den (though he did coach some guys) and focused on being a pro-wrestling heel. For Ken's comeback to the UFC (UFC 40) they naturally matched him with Tito because of the beef, and Tito whipped Shamrock badly. Tito flat-out mauled Ken for three rounds and Ken's corner had to throw in the towel.
At UFC 50. Tito was matched with Mezger again, but Mezger had a mini-stroke or an aneurysm (I forget which) during training and had to retire from fighting.
The Ken-Tito 2 rematch is basically a joke. The only reason it is happening is because of TUF 3. Ken will most likely look the same as he did in the first match,...

I'm surprised so many from this season are getting those prelim matches. I'd actually like to see a few of them. Too bad they probably won't make it to air.

Tito thought Mezger had been tapping (he wasnt). They resumed the fight and Mezger got Tito in a guillotine choke and it was over.

Eventhough I think the fighters were pretty subpar this season, I think it will be a good final...Bisping is definitely the most taleneted, but Josh has heart. I thought it was over as it looked like Jesse had the RNC sunk in but he muscled out of it. I think that match may be another Forrest vs Bonner. With Ed and Kendall, I think it will come down to the fact that Ed comes from a superior training camp and may have better training from the end of the show until the final. However, Ed will have to face someone with a decent ground game which he hasnt faced in Danny and Rory. Im definitely excited.

So I really liked watching Tito coach this season, but one thing drove me ape-shit crazy about him this year. It's stupid I know, but Tito calling the fighters "kid" and "son" just irritated the hell out of me. These dudes are his age. It wasn't so bad when he was referring to the "kids" with the other coaches or Dana as that could be taken as "rookies", but after some fights he would give the "Damn good job son" and I'm like whaaaa?
Like I said, stupid that it bothers me.
I'm hoping Bisbing wins. He was the best fighter this year, but he also had charisma and personality which made the show easier to watch. I do like Josh though as he seems like a real solid guy and did a really good job fighting off those rear chokes in his fight.
Shamrock came out of this season looking like ass! I'm pretty new to the UFC so my favorite guys so far have all been coaches. Rich Franklin, Matt Hughes, and Randy and Chuck are the guys I root for just because I know who they are. I have no problem adding Tito to that list, but Shamrock has no chance. Not only was his coaching style lackluster (going by what was shown), but also his ego was pretty out of whack.
ETA: And the ring girl Leah Rochelle? Hotter than the gates to hell.

Bisping will win easily over Josh. Josh stand up is weak and has zero ground skill. If Jesse had a bit more of experience or in Tito's team, he might have submit Josh with the rear naked choke.
I really hope Kendall will beat the shit outa Ed. I can't stand that prick. I think Kendall has a better stand up than Ed so a few kicks to Ed's head or his rib would be awesome. Make that bitch cry.

I dont think Bisping will win as easily as people think...I think Bisping will and should win, but Josh is a beast and can take quite a bit of punishment. I think it just comes down to the fact that Bisping has more skills. Jesse had the choke in pretty good, and Josh was still able to get out of it. However, if Mike hits him in the face with one of those knees, it will be lights out.

My overall opinion over this season is kinda dissapointed.. Compared to the first two seasons these fighters seem like amateurs.. I can't see one of these fighters going into the UFC and actually competing with a UFC fighter..
Josh = Slow, fat, terrible conditioning, doesn't impress me at ALL.. It was impressive that he fought off the RNC but that's about all that impressed me about him in both his fights.
Ed = VERY slow standup.. If he fought a talented stand up fighter I think he would get destroyed. Watch how sloppy and slow he throws punches.. I think he is VERY overrated (by himself) and I actually think (and hope) that Kendall will win.
Kendall = I would say he's average and that he has a shot at making it in the UFC.. He showed he can take some punishment his last fight and has some good standup.
Bisping = I think he is the only good fighter and one that can actually make it in the UFC.
Ken Shamrock is a total tool.. That guy needs to get a life. He's 40+ years old and acts like he's 14.
Tito earned A LOT of respect from me.. Going into this season I was total pro Shamrock and always thought Tito was a cocky / arrogant fool.. I was totally wrong. He was totally sold out on trying to help these fighters and you really could see that he was a good guy. I can't wait until Tito vs Shamrock II.. This time I hope Tito KO's him because Shamrock took one helluva beating the first fight but he just wouldn't go down!

I agree. That first fight with tito and shamrock was painful to watch. I just started getting into the UFC and that match made me a fan. I also loved that big Russian guy with fangs. His one touch KO was great.
When is the rematch between Tito and Shamrock? I can't wait to see Ken get his ass kicked again

An awesome amount of UFC in the very near future..
June 24th - TUF Finale LIVE (SpikeTV)
June 28th - Ultimate Fight Night LIVE (SpikeTV)
July 3rd - UFC All Access Tito Ortiz
July 3rd - UFC 61 Countdown Special
July 8th - UFC 61 (PPV)
TUF 3 Finale Card
The full line-up for the UFC's June 24th event has been revealed. In addition to the middleweight and light heavyweight finals of The Ultimate Fighter 3, as well as two previously announced bouts, there will also be five non-televised undercard bouts featuring many of the fighters from the third season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Michael Bisping vs Josh Haynes in the light heavyweight finals
Ed Herman vs Kendall Grove in the middleweight finals
The two other fights on the live broadcast on Spike TV will feature:
Kenny Florian (TUF 1 ) vs Sam Stout in a lightweight bout
Keith Jardine (TUF 2 ) vs Wilson Gouveia in a light heavyweight fight
The five non-televised undercard bouts will feature nine fighters from TUF 3, as well as one non-TUF fighter who is making his UFC debut. The five undercard bouts are:
-Matt Hamill vs. Jesse Forbes - Man, I hope this gets aired. I would really like to see him fight again.
-Kalib Starnes vs. Danny Abaddi
-Rory Singer vs. Ross Pointon
-Solomon Hutcherson vs. Luigi Fioravanti
-Mike Nickels vs. Wes Combs
"As you may have noticed, at least the top three of those fights would certainly appear to have been booked with a likely winner in mind. The five undercard fights will only air on television if there is an abundance of extra time on the three-hour live broadcast on June 24th, or if the UFC chooses to include any of them on future episodes of UFC Unleashed, a show that is only contracted to have 13 new episodes per year.
Interestingly, the only three contestants from The Ultimate Fighter 3 who are not booked on the June 24th event are the three fighters who walked away from opportunities to continue fighting on the show: Noah Inhofer, Tait Fletcher, and Kristian Rothaermel.
