Please. You can bet your bottom dollar that Trump has never scheduled one of these tasks to occur on Easter Sunday or Christmas Day. In the real world, people understand that their Jewish colleagues will need to take off for their holidays. It's no different from last season when Randall took a day off to attend his grandmother's funeral.

Speaking of last season, about a month after they filmed this episode, NBC aired the episode where the team misses their meeting with the Star Wars executives. The Arby's executives were a lot nicer than the Star Wars executives.

Couldn't they have just postponed the task a day or two?

Arby's doesn't care about Jewish people.

I guess the production schedule, plus lining up all these sponsors, err, executives on specific days means the teams will have to work on the sabbath.

this is a job interview and the second time he took off from a task. Israeli soldiers also work on holidays.

I'm calling bullshit (and as someone who is Jewish, I think I have some room to comment). There's differences between taking off for a "holiday" within a job interview such as this compared to taking off as a death in the family. If you don't get to take off for a holiday, too fucking bad. Cough it up and move on. If somebody in your intermediate family dies, you not only should have time off, but you deserve it. The whole point of this show is the contestants are there because they want to work for Trump. The contestants want to show the man if they have what it takes and Lee's already taken off twice. Sure, he think he'll be safe for another week, but the one moment he fucks up, he'll be sent home packing. Can anyone remember anything memorable Lee did in order to win a task? No.

Granted, the same could be said for the rest of the contestants, but I think Lee's a real slimeball and asshole. Granted, Bryce did fuck up last night by pretty much putting himself on the line, but I don't think any members of Gold Rush will make it to the final two at this point.

Is anyone still watching this? I finally caught up with all the episodes so far. It's disappointing to see Gold Rush lose so much, but Lee seemed to do almost everything right in the Pizza-wich episode. It was great watching him and Leslie talking over each other for five minutes in the board room while Trump just stared

Yeah I couldn't stand Andrea. I'm so glad she got the "Brent" treatment.

On a side note. Where is Charmain from? I really love har accent and she's quite easy on the eyes.

Wow, Lee said that "he" fired Leslie? Why did anyone let him get away with that? Tarik stepped up this task, as I thought the design of their brochure was amazing, and getting to Battery Park at before the other team was a no-brainer. They just did everything right this time. Just surprised that nothing was said (or at least edited in) about leaving the notes at Ellis Island, and having Allie get off the boat to "help?" go get them? That was just stupid, and she should have been held accountable for that. All in all, tho, Andrea should have gone. She was horrible.

I think someone had started a weekly thread last week (2 weeks ago)?

It doesn't seem like many people watch this show anymore.

Glad bitchy redhead is gone. Is it just me, or does she look like and talk like a transsexual?

I rent many direct-to-rental horror films. One of them was about a killer transsexual....and she did look like Andrea!

Glad to see her get the boot.

Lee without shirt: I love those nerdy/skinny types! He is definitely full of himself.

I'm always suprised when they reveal the actual results of the competition, they are always a lot closer than the editting indicates. Like last nights task, sure the one team outsold the other 2 to 1, which sounds like a huge gap, but the way it was editted you'd think it should have been even wider. Everytime they showed the losing team trying to sell a brochure, people already bought one from the winning team. I'm not really sure how the losing team even managed to sell $800 worth in that situation.

This happens in a lot of the tasks, it looks all lopsided, but then the winning team only slightly outsells the losing team.

I agree. I thought the sells was so lopsided that I can't believe they managed $850 in sells. Considering Lee got 1 bulk sell ($85) and have control of the line to Ellis Island in Battery Park, they should have destroyed the other team.

Yeah...the bulk sale ended up being almost irrelevant, as it was only $85 and they won by about $800. $3 brochures for 85 cents a piece. I think Lee underpriced them (assuming he and the girl discussed the price before she talked to the buyer) because of the missed sandwich bulk sale.

And yeah...how did the losing team sell that much? Musta called their relatives and such to buy a bunch...the editting sure didn't make it look like they sold many "on site."

Yes, you saw one team sell a lot more and led you to believe the difference would be larger than 2 to 1, but the losers sold their brochure for $5 so they actually didn't need as much quantity to stay close.

Every customer of the losers was worth 1.67 of a winning team's customer.

The task tonight was pretty dumb. They have a lot of tasks on the Apprentice that is merely marketing vehicles for the companies who pay for them and that is compromising the show's ability to challenge the contestents. I really have no idea what each person can do in this show. All I really know is that the Brit guy is really charming and Lee is a politician. And for the people who just left, it was so obvious that Trump had a boner for Charmaine. You really could tell he totally wanted to make sweet love to her. Even when he was firing her, he had to make a comment on her attractiveness. I felt bad for Tariq (sp?) too. Trump constantly made insulting remarks about his intelligence and his MENSA status. He looked pretty hurt after Trump's final insult before he fired Charmaine. There has to be some history with Trump and MENSA. I bet the only reason Trump chose Tariq to be on the show was so that he could fire a MENSA member.

I have never heard of the "Hair Cuttery". They don't have salons around here. It seemed like an odd company to promote.

Perhaps that is a sign of the failing ratings of this show, if top companies aren't clamoring anymore to provide the tasks.

I agree about the task. It was very uninteresting and didn't provide opportunity for all the players to show their skills. Tarek and Lee were so correct about Charmaine spending way too much time focusing on things of no significance (organizing shelves for 4 hours, wtf?). I wish they would have pounded that point in the boardroom. Lee was too concerned about not pointing fingers. Come on dude. Grow a pair and tell it like it is! Tarek kept saying Charmaine was negative and emotional. I don't know where he got that, but he should have been more to the point of why they lost, no marketing plan! Tarek could have easily survived the boardroom this week but he let himself get pulled into a nonsense shouting match and failed to make his case.

The women of the other team (especially Allie) are really annoying. What's up with Sean's comment about Tammy. "Maybe we'll make lots of babies together." Whoa, wasn't expecting that!

There was no good reason to fire Tarik last night. Charmaine had no plan for any of them except being stock boys. That was a no brainer to me, and the firing of Tarik came from no where. Thought it was hysterical when Charmaine was saying she had to experience the haircut in order to explain it to her (non-existant) customers. Lee wanting Tarik gone was a good strategical move, but I thought Caroline caught on to that. Do they watch the tapes before the boardroom?

Allie is annoying but she won that task for them buy pushing the product. That was the only thing in this whole task for both teams that stood out.

They're big on the east coast. They're comparable to Supercuts.

Rather dull episode. From the previews, I could see how the teams are divided for next week.

to Charmaine's explanation as to why she was getting her hair cut.

Double firings make for less episodes. I wonder if he has a 'quota' of doubles to get the end of the season in sweeps month.

Trump's constant MENSA comments were tacky and annoying. A high IQ doesn't mean you'll play to the camera well or have success in the game that is The Apprentice.

I liked how they showed the flyers falling off of the cars and littering the streets. Why is this even legal? All it does is create trash on the streets and such. VERY few people respond to that sort of "marketing."

Do we have some final two guesses? I'm leaning towards Lee and Tammy. Lee cuz of the huge amount of air time, and Tammy for the exact opposite reason. In past seasons, there have been some quiet ones (not much air time) that shine right at the end and make it to the finals.

Bad episode. What was with that reward? Help Burt Bacharach write a song? HORRIBLE! He looked so uncomfortable with them writing words for his tune. And then they sang it at the end? Come on! So lame.

I was just starting to like Charmaine. I love her accent and whatever ethnicity she is. Raar.

I feel bad for Sean because I think he had a chance, but now he is so gone...unless the Tammy move pays off.

Was it just me or was everyone else just waiting for Tarek and Charmaine to totally make out in the taxi? lol
