New season starts tonight, if anyone still cares.

I had totally forgotten about the new season starting and just saw it in my Tivo to-do list.

I wonder how this season will fare against 24.

I read that Ivanka Trump is substituting for Carolyn for five episodes?

Also, isn't this season taking place in Los Angeles, or am I wrong?

As far as I heard, there is a dirty Canuck and an even dirtier Russian. Both happened to be liked by, you guessed it, none of the other teammates.

I was one of the few who enjoyed last season so I've already set-up the season pass for this new batch of episodes.

i'm glad lee didn't stand down after Tarek threatened "to put a target on his back". Tarek isn't as smart as he thinks he is. He should of only taken the girl in with him, by putting all his detractors in the boardroom at the same time allowed for them to gang up on him. Right person got fired in any case, but lee's critism is warranted.

The only one I didn't think deserved to be in the boardroom was Lenny. He did EXACTLY what he was told to do, and no one said he did it badly.

Summer deserved to go, especially after the dumb stare she gave Carolyn when she asked her "what did you contribute to this team?" Not only that, but if she had a problem with the phone calls she should have 1) spoke up about it or 2) sucked it up and called (maybe called other businesses besides restaurants?)

Lee complained there was no creativity AFTER the project, but did he say anything before or during the contest?

Tarek also deserved to go because I do agree with Lee, but they only lost by 3 memberships. I think the reason he failed is because he sent Summer up in the blimp, WHY? She could have been working the crowd and that might have made all the difference. The other team didn't send anyone up did they? I could see Lenny since he knew the area, but wouldn't the blimp driver as well?? Waste of players was why I thought he should go.

Agreed. Tarek is an asshole. Glad Lee did not back down. Glad Trump cooled Tarek's heels a bit.

The hefty dude seems to be there as a joke/tv fodder and is alot like the goofy guy from last season.

I hope Trump's kids have more charisma than Martha Stewart's daughter.

I actually thought Tarek was a combination of Orlando Bloom and Mark Ruffalo.

I felt sorry for Summer, how would you like the job of calling restaurants during the dinner rush asking them to upgrade their Sam's membership? She should have pointed out the improbability of that working right off the bat though rather than attempting it. But then she would have been criticized for not attempting it.

The other jobs were much easier.

And in the end, they really didn't lose by much. 40 upgrades to what, 43? So it's not like they were a total failure, but of course somebody has to go.

And as for Tarek, anytime you say "I'm a member of Mensa" or "I'm smarter than you", you're painting a big bullseye on yourself. Dumb move to highlight that.

I think that bragging that you're some Mensa genius (Tarek) is a big mistake - it alianates some people, and they're just looking for a chance to prove you're stupid. Even the Donald did it.
