- Ring Skit

- Death Cab for Cutie (although I am in the minority on this one)
- Taco Town for the 30th time (but at least it wasn't Morgan Stanley)

Here is what was good:
- Monologue
- Tv Funhouse(s)
- Weekend Update (for once!)
- Deep House Dish
- My Super Sweet 16 (very good in my opinion)
- Scarlett's tig ol' bitties

The rest was just ok. So all in all, a very average show. Scarlett rocks, so th fact that this was just ok is disappointing.
Pretty much sums up my opinion. I thought TV Funhouse was great (Celi-bots...As a long-time Transformers fan, I was dying when that came up ).

And DJ Dynasty Handbag is a great name.

Keenan Thompson is becoming the only cast member I look forward to seeing each week.

That and Rachel Dratch's cans.

Finese was limited to a security guard and a background drummer... and Bill Hader was the commatose swed and a background musician... I wish they'd use them more.

btw, when's Maya coming back?

... oh, folks are saying that Steve Martin is confirmed as the host for February 4th (his 14th time), and that it will be last new episode until after the Olympics.

The musical guest is not confirmed but they are saying that its either Sean Paul or The Bad Plus.

For anyone who has seen the MTV version of My Super Sweet 16, you know the SNL version actually could have gone further with the satire. This was very nearly on par with an actual episode.

Also, I thought the Duluth morning show band sketch was pretty funny. I would have preferred them better to the actual musical guest. I have now seen next big things Death Cab and Coldplay via SNL, and all I can say is I now understand how so many young people are drawn to hip-hop. Ack.

The rest of the show was utter crapola.

I usually do not watch a complete new episode of SNL, at least not I haven't for a while, but with Scarlett hosting I had too. Well, I felt the show was just ok, at least she looked her incredibly hot self as always espeicially in the Smorgasbord skit.

I loved the "Fly High, Duluth" sketch. I thought that was one of the best sketches this year. Will Forte was pretty funny. Reminded me of an act you would see at a fairground or at a public performance in a park.

Lazy Sunday is going to go from great to overexposed pretty darn quickly I'm afraid.

Hell, they played the whole thing on a local sports radio show the other day and were using slang from the video.

It's over. Already been killed. Put it next to "I'm Rick James, bitch!" in the archives.
