I don't watch SNL, but made an exception to watch Scarlett. Who was the idiot opposite her in the ring skit? Could he not have attempted to look like he was looking at her instead of reading the cue cards? That was really pathetic.

wow, they had a month from the last new show and this pile of shit is all they could come up with?
Other then the sweet 16 skit, a skit you probably would have had to have seen the show to get, this episode was awful. Even tv funhouse was terrible.

Scarlett looked hot especially with the dark hair in the morning show skit with the rock band. However, all of the skits were utter crap and don't get me started about that idiotic TV Funhouse cartoon "Darwin".

"Smorgasbord" was a clusterfuck of epic proportions. Potentially one of the worst things SNL has ever done... and that's saying something.
"Darwin" was awful, too. The only highlight was the Transformers celibacy parody with Optimus Prime getting a handjob.

Scarlett was fun to look at, but the rest of the show was horrible.

Wow, that was a bomb. Maybe the worst episode so far this season. SJ was only fair as a host, she seemed lost a few times. Good thing she is so beautiful. Also, I don't usually listen to the musical guest, but I'd never head of Death Cab for Cutie. Man, that shit music was godawful.
700 Club
TV Funhouse cartoon with Pat Robertson telling children about the deaths of Lou Rawls and the Dunkin Donuts guy and how they’re in Hell. Odd to see this as the lead in. Too short to be anything good.
Monologue
Hey, let’s sing! Yep, another one. SJ and Poehler sing about being a star, but SJ is going to the Golden Globes while Poehler hosted the High Times’ Stony awards. Self-deprecating songs during the monologue stopped being funny when Buck Henry was hosting.
Taco Town
Repeat ad parody of the really big taco.
Deephouse Dish
Talk show about club kidz and their music. Thompson and Dratch are hosts. Poehler, SJ, and Parnell are singers. Not good, and the repeated joke with Thompson yelling at Dratch for being boring smacked of high school drama club writing.
Smorgasbord
Swedish cooking show on the Food Network (“ESPN for fags”). Myers and SJ are the humorless hosts, speaking of meatballs and pickled fish. Not really that bad, and Samberg did a bit as the muppet Swedish Chef that was pretty funny.
TV Funhouse
Religious network cartoons. Charles Darwin as a total idiot, married to a male ape in a dress; a gay stem-cell named Bryo; and Celibots, transformer-type robots for chastity that will actually turn into rockets and blast off at the first hint of third base. Okay.
Mike & Toni’s Chandelier Galaxy
Commercial with Armisen and Dratch as owners of a Noo Yawk chandelier store. SJ does a quick bit.
Duluth morning show
Sudekeis and Poehler as hosts of a morning show, not able to talk because their new band insists on playing a loud obnoxious theme song the whole time. Of course, resident screamer Will Forte as bandleader. Terrible.
Weekend Update
Jokes about the Alito hearing, with a recording of Dratch as Alito’s wife making faces during the speeches. Also a W.U. Nutbird Quiz, with racist & homophobic quotes either coming from Pat Robertson or a crazy homeless man. Samberg also on as the new spokesman for dudes with shaggy hair.
Super Sweet 16
MTV reality show about rich & spoiled girls getting an over the top sweet 16 party. Feh.
Jewelry shop
Sudekeis as a blowhard customer and SJ as counter person. Mitchell makes his one appearance as security guard and doesn’t get any lines. Sudekeis was okay, he could be an anchor to the show like Parnell is now.
Oceanographers
SJ, Myers, and Sanz laying side by side in a tiny submarine in the Kuril Kamchatka Trench. Myers is astounded to hear that SJ and Sanz were able to dance and make love in the tiny sub while he was asleep. This is one of what I call a Microwave Bit. In other words, this was written by a staff member while standing next to the microwave waiting for his hot pocket to finish heating. Ninety seconds is all that’s needed.
Jane Austen’s Mr. Willoughby
SJ, Dratch, and Fey as three English sisters dancing and singing about their new love Mr. Willoughby who, by their description, is very very ugly. I really would liked to have punched one of these broads.
