Surprised not to see more buzz in this forum beforehand, but this year's convention was by far the best in recent memory! Such a great turnout from the cast and crew. And the events to raise money for charity were great. I was only able to attend the "Karaoke with Carlton" and "Throw Jeff Townes out the Door" events. Will upload the pics when I get a chance. Did anyone get to attend any of the other events?
The silent auction was also a great idea. Sadly I was not the winning bidder in the "Butler for Day" package (Joseph Marcell was very generous to donate his time like that!) Does anyone know how much that went for?
It was a shame though that this worthy cause was still not enough for Janet Hubert and Daphne Reid to resolve their differences. We can only hold out hope for next year. Hope to see some of you there!
Will Smith actually shows up to these things? That's crazy. Sweet Fancy Moses Tatyana Ali is still smokin hot. God I had the hots for her. Call me crazy but I always liked the second Vivian better.
Fresh Prince has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I've always really liked that show.

Ah, Carlton. First he was Ricky Schroeder's rich friend in "Silver Spoons," then he got a spin-off that showcased Carlton's family and homelife (and a sidekick cousin coming to live with him from Philly).

Never miss an episode. His show is weekly, so he usually gets the best guests. There's been some epic panels in the past. Lots of multiple A-listers on the sofa at once.
If you don't have Direct TV or someone supplying BBC USA, episodes are usually posted on Youtube.
I love that Smith embraces The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and DJ Jazzy Jeff. A lot of stars are embarrassed by their beginnings.

Alfonso looked like he lost some weight. Probably since he's now married to a hot young blonde, needs to keep those carbs low.

full confession: i went to a My Two Dads convention in November 2008, and I must have been slipped a roofie or something, because I just woke up (someone must have posted in 2010 to throw my fellow FreshPrincians off the scene of my disappearance). Is it true Will Smith has a son who acts? And on a bigger note, are my rare DVDs still valuable and when is the next 20% off sale at DeepDiscountDVD?

A sad day in Fresh Prince land, I hope the answer is revealed to us in due time. In the meantime, we need to form a panel to speak on the passing of Uncle Phil at the next convention, who would like to volunteer?
