James Avery was the voice of Shredder. In the original live action movie, Shredder is played (though not voiced) by James Saito.
A few years ago while watching Eli Stone, in which James Saito was a regular cast member, James Avery was a guest star in an episode and I was "woah! The guy was the voice of the animated shredder and the guy who was the actor of Shredder in a TV episode 20 years later!".

Surprised not to see more buzz in this forum beforehand, but this year's convention was by far the best in recent memory! Such a great turnout from the cast and crew. And the events to raise money for charity were great. I was only able to attend the "Karaoke with Carlton" and "Throw Jeff Townes out the Door" events. Will upload the pics when I get a chance. Did anyone get to attend any of the other events?
The silent auction was also a great idea. Sadly I was not the winning bidder in the "Butler for Day" package (Joseph Marcell was very generous to donate his time like that!) Does anyone know how much that went for?
It was a shame though that this worthy cause was still not enough for Janet Hubert and Daphne Reid to resolve their differences. We can only hold out hope for next year. Hope to see some of you there!

It seems like the Aunt Viv they got rid of, because they didn't like her is still mad they got rid of her 18 years later. Hopefully new Aunt Viv would be up for the reunion that will never happen.

I agree she was the better Viv (never got a motherly or aunterly vibe from the second one) but I definitely believe this is just sour grapes on her part. After getting canned, she didn't do much except a soap opera.
