I don't know if it's so much that Carrie Ann is jealous of Stacy, but she was clearly enamored with Tia, and since Stacy overshadows Tia in every way imaginable, she resents Stacy. Lisa doesn't match up to Tia in the looks department (Harry must beat her regularly, because she shows up with a fat lip every week!), so Carrie Ann doesn't mind Lisa.

And yes, Bruno is clearly in love with Stacy, as well he should be. She is a weapon of mass seduction! I just about passed out from excitement a couple of weeks ago when she was shaking her ass and giggling about how it tickled!

Harry was obviously pissed, but how about that woman to his left??? She looked like she was ready to go off on someone!

Carrie Ann is just jealous she doesn't look as good as Stacy, doesn't have an ass like Stacy, and doesn't have legs like Stacy. That said, Carrie Ann is pretty hot. But not that hot.

I agree that Bruno is overpromoting Stacy, but she deserves a lot of that praise. She is without a doubt the best celebrity dancer that's been on this show, this season or last. Certainly she's help by a decade of formal dance training in jazz and ballet. Bruno's mesmerized by Stacy's ass-ets!

By the way, what happened to Lisa? She looks bad. Great body, but her face looks so hard. She used to look so much better. Either she has aged badly, or has had a ton of plastic surgery.

So does that mean we say goodbye to Stacy next week, and end up with a Drew vs Jerry Finals ? Lets hope not, we know who will win that one.

Just because Stacy wasn't safe until the end of the show doesn't necessarily mean the she had fewer votes than Drew or Jerry(supposedly they tell which star is safe by random order). The finals are already set-Jerry, Stacy and Drew are all in the finals.

Talk about a travesty, if that were to happen. But it wouldn't shock me. The problem with the show is people at home get to vote. That makes it nothing more than a popularity contest, instead of a dancing contest. That's why you had nitwits like Master P lasting as long as he did, when he should have been out after the first dance. I don't think Jerry should have lasted this long either. Just one man's opinion. They should leave it up to the judges.

Yes, I think ABC announces the come-backers out of order/random or arrange them to build suspense.

So how does this work this year? Thursday is the finals and Sunday is the results show. Will all three couples be competing for the top spot this season?

Savol was on American Idol who overstayed his welcome and acted as a "spolier" in contrast to his more talented contemporaries. IMO, that's what Jerry Rice is doing. He clearly doesn't have the tools to be a dancer, hasn't improved and is still as stiff as a board. I agree about Lisa's points too...

The problem they had last season was that with only two couples in the finals, the numbers were screwed.

Judges votes give the top couple 2 pts and the other one 1 pt.

Audience votes give the top couple 2 pts and the other one 1 pt.

Tie is broken by the Audience vote score.

The judge gave John their vote and Kelly got the Audience vote. So it was tied 3-3 with the tie going to Kelly.

With the new system of three couples, the scores will hopefully give us a clearer winner.

The total goes to six, and we know that Jerry is not going to get the judges vote. Jerry will get one point from the judges. Drew and Stacey will fight for the other 3 or 2.

If Jerry gets the audience vote, that would give him 3 with Drew and Stacey fighting for the 2 and 1.

As long as either Drew or Stacey get both the judges top vote (3) and the audience second place vote (2), they'll win (5). If they split the positions (3-1, 2-2, 1-3), then it would be a 3 way tie going to the audince vote and in this case Jerry would win.

That is sad!

A nightmare scenario but one that wouldn't surprise me. I think a more fair method would be something someone else on this board suggested. The audience vote is converted into a numeric score allowing a couple to get a score of 40 if the judges give them tens and they are votes number one by the fans. The top vote getter receives a 10, the next one a 9, and so on. This way, a person's popoularity has little influence. This system wouldn't be perfect as the judges are often unfair in their scores, but it's a lot better than the way it's calculated now.

I do remember the judges saying that this was the semi-finals so we should have one last round left with the three facing off. I hope stacy can just get the title and that will be it.

Next week is it (next Sunday will have the crowning of the season 2 champ). The reason is because to push it another week would leave the finale outside of February sweeps, and that just ain't happening for this show, which is delivering very good ratings for ABC (especially against Survivor).

It's a crime that Jerry is still in it.
He can't dance. He looks so uncoordinated out there.
His fans are keeping him in.

I think they should change the scoring next show so that it's not 50-50 with the judges and the fans. The judges scores should count 75 to the fans 25.
Afterall, this is a dance competition not a popularity contest.

Drew or Stacy deserve to win.

I agree that the judge's score should be weighted more heavily than the fan vote.

If that's the case, then let the judges score from 0-100, not 0-10 in single digit increments.

The judges had the correct criticism of Stacy's freestyle dance (pretty lame) but their scoring sure didn't indicate it. Neither that dance nor Jerry's first dance merited 26 points. They really boxed themselves in by handing Jerry a 26 at the start.

Jerry did a nice job in the disco, and he earns a bonus for the 'fro.

Drew & Cheryl were definitely the best tonight. Drew always looks so tense out there, but not so in the freestyle.


As for the program itself, holy filler, Batman. I started watching my recording at 9:05 and caught up by 9:30.

That lame routine by Stacy will probably cost her the title. What an awful time to put out a stinker.

The 'fros were really cute. Jerry still looks stiff though. A lot of work on the lifts though.

It's Drew's night tonight. If Cheryl cheorographs the routines, she does a really good job. Ride'em cowboy.

Stacy is a natural so the judges expect more from her. Good dancing but not hot.
