This may have been posted already, because it is definitely being discussed on other message boards, but Kristin from E Online, who has seen the finale and knows who the Carver is, dropped the following hint about the Carver's identity (spoilerized because I'm assuming this legitimately leads to the name of a character/actor):

I'm assuming you're referring to TV Guide... they're just still using the first season cast list. If you click on any of the episode titles (I just tried it), Kate Mara and Valerie Cruz are listed. Also on every cast list for every episode is Kelsey Batelaan, who plays Annie McNamara - and we KNOW she hasn't been in every episode! :)

Well, the cast lists for e14 and e15 are different, that's why I'm thinking it might be legit.

I've always found Kristen to be slightly above total fucking retard, who doesn't know shit and is frequently wrong. Doesn't mean that she is here, but I don't give what she says any creedence.

What's the real deal with Season 3 Finale?
 

1. My next week's TV Guide says it starts at 9pm

2. TV Guide online says this Tuesday's (12/20) episode is the first of back-to-back finale episodes.

I thought it would be a 2-hour finale.

So...what is the truth? when? how long? etc...

Any fan of Ryan Murphy's pre-Nip/tuck program Popular can tell you the show was notorious for completely dropping a regular character, never to be mentioned again. I notice similarities between the two shows, which is why I'm afraid the carver in the end will make no good sense.

Due to the adult nature of this show, it makes a 10 p.m. EST show (meaning, I doubt you'll ever see it airing before 10 p.m. during repeats or new episodes).

yes. Cris and Sean went to Atlanta i believe where he worked prior for a specific case (which i don't remember) or Quentin came to Miami one time for the case.

I'm guessing that Gina is the Carver, but my girlfriend said that Gina was out in the church waiting for Kimber like everyone else at the time that Kimber was abducted. Does anyone know if this is true? Because if so it would be very difficult for he alone to be the Carver.
