I can't remember either. That's just one example, though. I do not think they showed a sense of urgency throughout the race.

Kudos to the Linz's for the Silence Of The Lambs reference.

oh, they definitely didn't. I agree. I just didn't know if that was a good example. a better example is the one someone mentioned above, bickering on the golf course.

For no reason, the young Linz did

"It puts the lotion on its skin"

BTW...all teams had to wait for thier clue before changing back into street clothes.

It wasn't "for no reason", they were talking about Buffalo Bill.

It wasn't for no reason. They were talking about who Buffalo Bill was and he referenced the Buffalo Bill character from The Silence of the Lambs.

EDIT: Damn you, person who beat me by two minutes!

I think the Weavers are going to win - they've been painted as underdogs from the start, and with a "you think you're better'n me?" chip on one shoulder and God on the other, I don't see how they can lose.

Go Linz family!

Go Black family!

All the better to see them crash and burn so close to the end, and deservedly receiving the coldest finish line reception since Jonathan. Maybe worse.

I wouldn't mind them pulling a "Team Guido" or "Team Who".

Go Linz family!

Yeah, it'd be pleasant if the Weavers managed to Guido it. A Season 2 type finsh would also be delightful, but I don't know if Megan would be able to run well enough to pull it off.

Season 2's finish has to have been the best ever. S1 though was the best edited finish by a country mile...

I'm hopeful they get knocked out early and hard, like the guidos, but in reality there has been so much bunching in this season way more than the airplane versions, and I still can't believe that it was 90% in the US.

Which makes me hopeful there will actually be a true "race to the finish" this time.

Interesting how when they were talking about the pitstop and the town of Absarokee (population 1234), they show fly-over shots of the city of Billings (population almost 100,000...Montana's largest city). Not quite the same size or similar.
