Hopefully the show won't suck as bad as the ads for it.

I am actually tempted to just skip this weeks episode so it doesn't really disappoint me. Why do they feel like they need to do a holloween tie-in?????

Jeannot Szwarc must have a "thing" for dressing the female cast up like high-class call girls. He also directed last season's "Spell".

Maybe he's just working his s**t out -- like therapy, only he gets paid for it

school girl chloe was hot. needed more shots of her thigh high covered legs though
the vampire stuff sucked though (other than school girl chloe) but the lex/professor story was a touch interesting

What a worthless episode. Besides a few babes, this episode had nothing going for it.

I notice Smallville always portrays witches and vampire very poorly compared to Buffy and Angel. Anyway this was a "Meh." episode. Pretty weak. The lead vampire was pretty annoying, but I guess she was supposed to be. The Lex/Profressor stuff was interesting. I always loved how Lex put people in their places with his intellect and power, but this time the roles were reversed. Lex was out of his league.

All I have to say about next week's episode is this:

Um...just one question.

How does a freakin disease protect you from a fatal fall like Lana had? I'm willing to guess that they weren't really immortal and just thought they were, but uh...they never really explained that, did they? So now that the disease is cured, are the girls no longer immortal?

Funny how being a vampire and/or a witch lets you remember everything about your previous life, but as soon as you lose that, you're back to your old self. I wonder if the converted sorority girls suddenly had the shot and went...what the hell, is this 2001?

Oh well, I know it's a TV show, but that's a big freaking hole in my opinion.

And, if they don't find some way to make Chloe "turn into" Lois, I think it's a big waste. I realize that somehow Chloe could die and Lois would take over in her memory, but it just doesn't make sense now.

I've only watched about 10 full episodes of Smallville since it began, and they've all been pretty fun so I decided to watch regularly this season. Tonight's was the worst by far for me. I'm not against vampire-themed shows/movies at all, but this just reeked of silly camp. Have there actually been episodes lamer than this one? Just curious what to expect before I rented the previous seasons.

I've always thought she was a cool and funny actress, but wtf is up with Carrie Fisher's mouth?

Clark as Zorro That being said...

I can already guess at least one of you guys will ask for screencaps after next week's episode. And not of Clark.

chloe renaming the main vampire chick Buffy Sanders..

got to like how the story line of going from normal to vampire was speed up a ton. Most shows always spend 2/3 of the ep going past the motions of turning into a vampire in the first place. Ya know, first they hate light, then "opps" they drink some blood etc etc for 40+ min. yawn, we all know what happens..

heck they did not even really wait for the other girls to leave the room before going from normal to vampire, even if we were robbed of hot girl on girl vampire kissing action!! Awwwwwwwww...

Ah, yes .... the Nightstalker in Buffyville episode, with a nod to Death Becomes Her and The Hunger.

Not one of my favorite outings for this series .....

How many times has Lex been knocked unconscious? At the rate of his concussions, he should be a vegetable soon.

I kinda wish they didn't have to use the kryptonite. I thought it would be a better way to introduce Clark/Superman's weakness against the supernatural. And then Lana blasting the Harmony wannabe with her new found heat vision was hilarious.

I know some hate the in joke references but I find them enjoyable.

Well, I'm a little over halfway through, and the two best things about the episode:

-Spike going all "Braniac" on the security guard
-Clark as Zorro. "The cape? I kind of like it. It's this
mask I don't like. Keeps sliding around. I can't see a
thing through it."

I have always been a big Smallville supporting, watching and defending it in threads...but tonight was the worst ever!

My wife even said tonights show was terrible, she wondered why I still like the show. This will be 3 weeks in a row with scantle clad women, not what the show is suppose to be about.

Hate the whole Vampire theme, and it played even worse than I thought it would.

The only saving grace in the show was Lex's interaction with the teacher/Brainic/Eradicator and Clark. That whole plot thread could be one of the better ones over the 4 1/2 years.

This episode was garbage. Pure and simple filler episode. The ONLY redeeming quality of this episode was the interaction between the professor and Lex and how they are checking on eachother.

And why is it that Lex has to have that dramatic "looking away" pose every time when talking to somebody, weird.

school girl chloe was hot.
holy shit she looked sooooooooooo yummy!!!
I wouldn't mind having Chloe wrap those legs around my face

Kitty cat Lana wasn't bad either,

Next week...oh shit don't get me started....

How many times has Lex been knocked unconscious? At the rate of his concussions, he should be a vegetable soon.
Ya no shit!! Weak.

Clark's vulnerability to magic was already introduced last season in "Spell" when he got 0wn3d by witches:
