Sorry guys for the confusion. I was going to start the round at 9am, but wasn't able to log in right at that exact time. To avoid any more hard feelings, I'm going to make an official announcement:
Regardless of how many players we have, round 2 will begin promptly at 9am tomorrow morning (9/28)
So, no round 2 picks that have already been made are valid. For those who have made round 2 picks, please delete/edit your posts to avoid (further) confusion.

Let's try to get some more players. Let people know that this contest is happening. Perhaps someone who is playing in the DVD Draft Game can make an announcement there.

That's what the bold says (liberal use of the word "tomorrow", East Coaster!
). As for closed registrations, I cannot speak for the official rule, but I would not be opposed to letting people join late (and making multiple picks) perhaps up through the 2nd or 3rd round.

Those people would be at a disadvantage, but I think it could be overcome. I hate that I'm going to miss the rush right at the start of the window the next couple of days due to things I have scheduled, but I know there is enough good TV left to go around until at least round 4.

We will start right away at 9am Pacific today. New players will be allowed to join the game until we hit the cap. I'd like to have a full 32 players before the voting starts.

Time check
(my plans have changed)
ETA: I see the time stamp says 7:54, not 8:54 as I expected. I take it that the 9 AM Pacific is Pacific *standard* time. That would put this round as starting at 1 PM Eastern *daylight* time (current time).
Am I reading this wrong?
