No question about that. Season one was setting up the group to divide along Locke supporters and Jack supporters.

Jack said in the last episode to kate, something along the lines of "if we survive tonight, we're going to have a Locke problem."

Well if anybody has seen the previews (I don't think this is too much of a spoiler)...
Spoiler:
it sure seems as though Kate is lowered down the hatch by Locke pretty early on in the premiere. If you watch this http://www.lostlinks.net/hatchpromo.htm you'll hear some crazy voices, followed by Kate falling and screaming and a bright light coming out of the hatch. Also, the other commercial that just started last week shows what seems to be the underside of the hatch they blew off, with red letters "QUARANTINE." It almost appeared to me like the writing was facing down into the hole before they blew it off, as if the outside world was quarantined. I think the writers have said stuff starts happening pretty quick to start off, but who knows, they can tell us whatever they want.

Looks like Destination: Lost is a Season 1 recap.

I wonder if Vegas is running odds on who goes down the hatch first?

Kate 3:2
Jack 2:1
Locke 2:1
Hurley 100:1

Yeah, they set that up in the first episode and kept subtly coming back to it all season. It seemed pretty obvious that's where they're going with the story. I was a bit surprised they held off on it until the second season, but I suspect that's where we'll spend a lot of time now.

This is actually premiering in Hawaii tonight, a special "beach" showing, open to the public. So spoilers will surely be rampant after tonight .

No kidding. He probably couldn't even fit in the hatch.

It will be interesting to see if he has lost any weight now that he has been on the island for more than a month.

I've just listened to the commentary for White Rabbit and I've got to be honest, I wasn't impressed.

The only thing I learned was that they snort the heroin because it's TV, and all of the English sets are actually in Hawaii.

Yeah, they aren't all good, but I thought were well done overall. "Walkabout" has the best commentary, IMO.

Yeah, I'm not going to be going, though -- I'll just wait until next week with all the rest of you. They're showing the "Invasion" premiere with "Lost" tonight. (Should be great, but I don't want to fight the crowds, plus the elimination show of "Rockstar: INXS" tonight is much more important to me.)

The commentary for the pilot 1+2 were very good. I'm thru disc 3 and all commentary tracks on those. Hopefully will finish it all up before next weeks episode, I watched them all when they were on but want to rewatch and refresh my memory plus want to get thru all the extras. How are the extras on disc 7? I will watch them all when I finish all the episodes and commentary tracks.

I liked the extras. There was quite a bit there, and interesting info.

I was watching the born to run episode and at the scene where walt tells lock to don't open it he doesn't say that until locke grabs his hand. Like he has to touch someone in order to get psychic powers.

And I'd like to add my vote for the nanotech theory. Even though we probably wont find out for five years.

For those of you theorizing what's going on, you may want to read some interviews with JJ and Damon, or even Javier. They're pretty explicit on some of the things that it's not.

But, again, there's no way to know that they're not just lying to throw people off. Even if someone guessed the exact plot they're not going to admit it obviously.

Me too . You'll find I'm quite partial to Locke (O'Quinn) - he's my uncle .
