I really wanted to vote for Batman Beyond, but I voted for the Batman 92 version. But definately not the new Batman animated crap they have been creating!
Superman TAS is really well done as well.

I went with Batman first just for the huge number of excellent episodes, quality animation and great stories. Plus the great characterization and voice acting on all parts. It was years before I actually found out that Mark Hamill was the Joker.
JLU is awesome now, and I might have felt differently if I had had the chance to see most of these episodes on TV every day after school instead of downloading them in lots (no cable at the moment), but there it is... Looking forward to season sets of the whole thing though.

back in the day, Transformers, spiderman and x-men were great.
however, to judge them as a whole, i'm going with JLU, Batman Beyond, Batman: TAS, and Teen Titans are my picks. I voted JL since there was no JLU option.
I can't get enough of the intricate storylines and true attempts at exposing social and moral issues to young viewers in a cartoon!

Personally, I put X-Men: Evolution ahead of the 90s X-Men. Blasphemy, I know. I also put the MTV Spider-Man just a hair ahead of the 90s Spider-Man. The new "The Batman" is quickly growing on me as well, though it will never overtake the Batman animated series. That is king.

Tick gets my vote because I enjoy it the most out of all of those. Always gets a laugh. Second fave is Batman TAS followed by X-Men and Spider Man.
Aeon always battled/loved Trevor. Samurai Jack always battled Aku. Sure, sometimes they battled minions of their respective adversaries but the same could be said of He-Man and Transformers which you stated are *not* superhero cartoons. Bit of a contradiction.

The Venture Brothers are heroes to me.
But since you don't have them, I go with The Tick. Lots of good ones to choose from, especially compared to when I grew up. Marvin, Wendy, and that stupid dog still piss me off to no end. What the hell were they doing there?????

Look, there was a point of time when I was around 10 or so that I wanted to be Firestar (from Spiderman and his Friends, with Iceman). That's it, I seriously wanted to be her to the point I almost needed help. So I'd say that was my favorite.

I don't know if it's been mentioned here before but there was really cool Silver Surfer cartoon on FOX years ago. I loved Galactus and artistic style of the show plus it seemed more adult than other superhero cartoons. But alas, the show was cancelled for one of themain reasons I loved it....it was deemed "too darK" for kids.
"Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot" was also a great show.
