The Shield "Judas Priest" 6/7/05

"Judas Priest"

The Strike Team uses an unconventional interrogation method on a Russian mob leader suspected of smuggling C4 explosives.

Vic to Antwone, "You want to be Living After Midnight?" Antoine replies, "You Got Another Thing Comin. If you don't know what's best for you Some Heads are Gonna Roll." Vic, "You were Breaking the Law. You do it again and your gone for good. I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding a Turbo Lover in San Quentin."

Was that a Craft/Fain episode? I thought I saw their names in the opening.

It should be very interesting to see how this season gets tied up. I can't wait.

Loved Monica ripping Assevada yet another a-hole for being such a scumbag.

Dani can't catch a break.

Dutchboy's boys have descended, and he's not taking crap from nobody anymore!!!

"I just order the blow job"

Great episode.

Dutch growing a pair and the look on Vic's face after the fight was great as was Monica reaming Acevada.

If Glenn Close doesn't win an Emmy for this season, it would be a travesty of justice. That closing scene was phenomenal.

Judging by next week's preview,
Spoiler:
I wouldn't want to sell Captain Rawling life insurance.

I still don't even understand how after the bust of the Russians with all of those cops, the strike team was able to keep the top guy from being taken to a holding center. I mean, all these cops make this huge bust, and they just let Vic and the boys keep the #1, his hooker and that other guy behind to interogate on site? I don't get it...

The main guy wasn't present at the bust. They made a comment right before the bust about how he was back at his restaurant or something.

Those 3 weren't picked up at the bust. If I remember correctly, right before the bust went down, Vic got a tip from someone on where they were at and said the strike team was going to sneak off to pick them up on their own.

Hrm - i remember the comment about the main guy not being there but missed Vic saying they would sneak off and get him on their own. Many thanks for clarifying!

This is the second show in the last few weeks where a character has suddenly blown up.

After Monica's rant at Aceveda, I liked Vic's closing line. "You're not a cop. You never were."

Giving Mitchell a relocation deal after his involvement in two brutal cop killings. Nice work, dumbasses.

Very, very intense last scene. I loved it.

This was indeed "the episode to watch before the season finale."

LOVED IT!!! Now THAT is how it is suppose to look when a guy blows up. When the dude on Lost exploded he just turned into a bunch of dry chunks.

ARRRRRGGGGHH!!!!! I can't wait until next week. Looks intense. And HEY, no Independence Day lead in this week!! They switched it up with Lethal Weapon 4. Wow.

It was definitely a good episode last night. I need to shut my door or something when I watch this because I miss a lot of little stuff when my roommates are being loud. I'm looking forward to the finale.

That was a great line it almost made me forget that Vic shot a cop in the face in the first episode.

That has bothered me more than anything else in this series... Vic (and the Strike Team in general) has come nowhere close to that level of scuzziness since then.

It's almost like they went overboard to nab viewers, then reeled back after the 1st season.

You must not be counting Wile E. Coyote (Road-Runnerus Digestus). He's on a lot.
