Wasn't that a pretty big gamble by Acevada? The whole deal with the DEA was just to get Antwon to convince Juan to miss his court date? Juan was only in county for one week, couldn't Acevada have waited til the end of the week before actually handing him over to the DEA to see if Antwon actually lived up to his part of the deal about Juan.

And why is Acevada still trying to keep his secret about Juan? His wife already knows what happened, what's worse than that? Would his work buddies really give him that hard of a time about it?

The hispanic culture is very macho/male driven. Did you not see how his wife reacted to his telling her? She was not sympathetic, she was disgusted and told him to take care of it; his close friend told him he would tell no one and kill the guys. Now imagine if it got out to the public. The only reason he got elected was because of his heritage (and the backing of by the right hispanic leaders) and he would stand no chance of being re-elected; and there is no way he could go back to being a cop, he burned too many bridges, plus the whole bitch c**ksucking thing would go over worse with cops.
