I missed the first few minutes. Can someone explain to me why the bet was who was going to come in on Saturday? Speaking as someone who has to do this on a regular basis, it just didn't make sense since my responsibilities are so task-specific I can't just transfer them to someone else. It just seems that warehouse duties are different from the office duties and one group would not be able to cover the other effectively.

I think the idea was that corporate was telling Michael that somebody had to be working Saturdays. Since he's only trying to fufill a corporate demand, he's not thinking about "coverage" or "duties."
