Plus Adama's got Baltar working on a Cylon detector--wouldn't having a real live Cylon onboard help towards that end? I understand they might think he's too dangerous to leave onboard, but couldn't they deactivate him and study him? It seemed like too valuable a commodity to just flush out the airlock.
They didn't really need to keep him, they still have the other copy of him from the supply station they stopped at in the morgue that they are studying.

Interesting article/Interview with Ron Moore about Galactica and the difference between the writing on B.G and Trek.

I don't think they are "building" cylons that look like humans. I think they are cloning humans and then imprinting their brains with "programming" to make them do what they want

It's still interesting enough for me to keep watching... for now..., especially with the good acting (love Olmos and McDonnell, remember McDonnell as "Stands with a Fist", the white woman raised by indians in Dances with Wolves?).
As for "Adama" being a cylon, if true, as noted, there are two Adamas, the commander (Olmos) and Apollo.
And why didn't Gaius Balter tell anybody that Sharon was a cylon?

Dang! My Sci-Fi channel screwed up Monday night's encore. Any time it might be aired yet again?
