I think thats it, unless I am totally off the boat.
That isn't what I took from that. From what I just saw

1) Sawyer was set up by the Terminator 1000 to kill a man who owed him money by telling him that the target was the sawyer he was looking for

2) Sawyer spent some time in the bar with Jack's father, and is later involved in an incident there (based on a few weeks ago when Sawyer said "it was his bottle - I was trying to give it back to him") - perhaps a medicine bottle??

Can someone please explain what was divulged/revealed after Sawyer shot who he THOUGHT was the real Sawyer that ruined his life? I couldn't quite understand him as he was dying.

Wow, Sawyer actually has the upper hand at this time with regards to Jack. I almost felt that he was going to step up and explain, but he remained Sawyer.

Con men, can't trust 'em, huh.

Good to see Jack's dad again, interesting scene.

Again, wow.

another okay episode. When is this show gonna pick up again? It seems as they are really trying to drag the story out so they can have more seasons.

Nothing wrong with that.

I liked the "I never" game.

I also don't think Sawyer killed Jack's dad. I don't think he'd go from being ticked that he killed the wrong guy to going and killing some guy who basically befriended him. It will be interesting to find out though.

ho hum episode to me. Didn't really give me anything new. I wasn't very suprised at the "Sawyer" running into Jack's father and the guy he killed not be the guy he thought he was wasn't a huge shock for me. Honestly the biggest suprise the show has thrown at me of late was the Michael episode with him getting hit by the cab. I'm really hoping next week gives me something good, because I'm starting to lose interest. Too much character drama and not enough plot development for my tastes.

The best part of the episode was when Locke displayed that "evil" smirk to Sawyer and Kate. It was both comforting and creepy at the same time. Damm, Terry O'Quinn is good.

I'm interested to see what may come of Sawyer knowing how proud Jack's dad was of him.

Can't wait for next week episode!!!

Our Sawyer shot the guy who he thought was 1970s Sawyer. He thought the guy was 1970s Sawyer because Our Sawyer's Friend had told Our Sawyer that this guy was 1970s Sawyer. Only it turns out that the guy wasn't 1970s Sawyer -- he was a guy who owed Our Sawyer's Friend money. Our Sawyer's Friend had told Our Sawyer that this was 1970s Sawyer so that Our Sawyer would kill the guy (as a penalty for not paying Our Sawyer's Friend the money he owed).

Clear as mud? Because once you understand that, I can explain my theory about how Management is really the Justin Crowe analogue, and he's tricking Ben into leading him to Hap Scudder.

A little more than I needed, but thanks. I just couldn't figure out what our Sawyer realized after he shot the guy who owed our Sawyer's friend money. (Now you got me talking like that).

he realized he shot someone that he had no business shooting. even though he's a jerk, he's not a killer. he only wanted to kill the guy who wronged his family. Once he figured out this wasn't the guy, he realized just what a bad thing he had done. nice tie-in with the Charlie story, as both he and sawyer are probably going through the same thing, killing a man for the first time.

and yeah, you were way off the boat. i really liked this episode, even though there was no advancement of the storyline on the island. but it looks like next week will give us that. and at the end, you were thinking sawyer would have a change of heart and at least mention to Jack that he met his Dad... but of course he didn't. that'll come though, I'm sure.

so were we to think that the boar was "possessed" by the guy he killed, like the dog in locke's story? giving closure to Sawyer about killing the wrong man?

ha ha, i was gonna comment about the red sox statement. obviously they missed the world series cause they are on the island.

I AM willing to theorize that Sawyer ran into Jacks father after the killing, blamed him for 'inspiring' him to kill fake Sawyer, and smacks him with a bottle, THUS getting him arrested, taken to the police station...AND FINALLY PROVING that the people who thought Boone's flashbacks were all halucinations are freaking NUTS.

BTW...chrisih8u...that poster belongs on a fat 10 year olds bedroom wall. Or 'The Rick's'

I'm ready for more on your Carnivale theory too.

Meanwhile, some pork chops would have been nice for dinner.

Even if he wasn't mad at the boar anymore, why the hell didn't he shoot it. They need the meat. Locke hasn't gotten any boar in ages.

Funny, because I spent the second half of that film convinced the girl was Shannon...

...BTW, is that Boone in the "Boogeyman" commercials?

What did the man Saywer killed say when he was dying? Something like, "it will come back around". And isnt that what 'our' Saywer was hearing in the Jungle and in one of the flash back scenes where his father entered the room to kill himself?

"it will come around" (chee chee chee) ((sounds of Friday the 13th))

those grifters sure know how to pull one over each other. Sawyer doing a payback for his T1000, Sawyer will never get to pay T1000 back.
