I find it quite odd as well. Every week, "it was a letdown." Yet it is the most quoted show since Seinfeld. At least on here anyway. Look at this thread as an example.

I watched this again last night and found some great missed moments.
Michael asking what his mother had done to her bathroom, and Oscar chiming in about sitting on the jet and...
Maybe sitting down to read a script, getting a papercut and sayign "back to film school for you asshole"
Oscar stating they need another floating thermometer, and Lucille's blue cross number.
Buster telling Michael his mother is being more controlling.
Michael asking what his mother had done to her bathroom, and Oscar chiming in about sitting on the jet and...
Maybe sitting down to read a script, getting a papercut and sayign "back to film school for you asshole"

Oscar walks out of the bathroom, walking gingerly holding his stomach and states "we need another floating thermometer and I need your blue cross number". I take it to mean he ingested the thermometer.
