I find it quite odd as well. Every week, "it was a letdown." Yet it is the most quoted show since Seinfeld. At least on here anyway. Look at this thread as an example.

I bet you are thinking of the conversation between him and Michael at the beginning: Michael to Buster:

"You need to meet someone."...."A woman."...."A woman who isn't mom."

Well they're not saying she's ugly - just that she's completely bland and boring. "It's as Ann as the nose on Plain's face" is a perfect example.

Besides - like the actress cares. She's got a recurring part with LINES on an award-winning comedy!

Alright episode, but the usual good GOB lines.

"This goes for the guys too, because sometimes even the guys are tapped out. But check your lease, man, you're living in Fuck City."

and

"I'm an idea man, I think I proved that with Fuck Mountain."
Had to add that to my sig. I'm still cracking up.

There have been three letdown episodes this season for me. The first one and the two before last Sunday's episode. One of those had the most quotable line of the entire series ("COME ON!"), but overall that episode wasn't as witty as usual. Even the worst episodes are still better than 95% of the other comedies on TV.

I watched this again last night and found some great missed moments.
Michael asking what his mother had done to her bathroom, and Oscar chiming in about sitting on the jet and...
Maybe sitting down to read a script, getting a papercut and sayign "back to film school for you asshole"
Oscar stating they need another floating thermometer, and Lucille's blue cross number.
Buster telling Michael his mother is being more controlling.

I didn't get the whole floating thermometer bit. Care to explain?

Oscar walks out of the bathroom, walking gingerly holding his stomach and states "we need another floating thermometer and I need your blue cross number". I take it to mean he ingested the thermometer.

Yeah I'm thinking it was more of a little glass enema.

Maybe he can get the mountain lion cubs from the South Park "Woodland Critters" episode to "retrieve" it from his ass. That would make for a nice crossover.

Do you mean shove it up his ass? It looks like you went overboard censoring yourself.

I forgot to mention: Did anyone notice the neon sign behind Buster when he's talking to Lucille 2 inside the club? It said "Delivery In The Rear."
