I thought that show was good - I was anxiously awaiting a new episode, so it was nice to have one, even if it wasn't as great as some of the previous episode. I definitely think that it was an episode to further the plot, but we did find out more about Kate, which was nice. Up to that point, I thought that she had been a self defense type of criminal, killing someone only to protect her life, or something like that. A couple of times we were lead in that direction (when she stayed with the farmer, when she was held up at the bank, etc). But that fact that she was actively involved in a bank heist definitely puts her in a different position in my mind, regardless of the reason.

I still think it was a self defense type of thing. She didn't want anyone to get hurt in the bank thing and she wasn't after the money. I think as someone predicted before that it's probably her dad and she had some inadvertant way lead to his death.

I still think it was a self defense type of thing too. Remember the US marshall said to Kate that "she's one of a kind" in reference to if the farmer will still get the $23k.

Kate is a hottie. She reminds of me another brunette hottie, Kate Beckinsale IMO, Shannon is nothing special.

Evangeline Lilly is definitely no Kate Beckinsale.

But Shannon is no way 5x hotter than Kate. She looks just like any other blonde chicks.

I hope you see the irony in a Chinese guy saying that all blondes look alike

Zuffy is Chinese?

I'm Chinese-American too and Shannon definitely doesn't look like any other Blonde Chick.

To me, Shannon is in the upper echelon of Blonde chicks. I give her an 8.5 out of 10 in the looks dept.

Kate Beckinsale/Underworld..... Evangeline wins
Kate Beckinsale/Van Helsing..... Beckinsale wins, unless it's extreme close-up, then you see the cracks in the paint. I think she was a bit darker than someone that lives one the equator. Still looked good though, with restrictions taken into account.

I find it interesting how far certain people on the show will go to hide their true selves. They all do it to one degree or another, and Kate went half crazy trying. Very insightful...

The bank robbery scene was ridiculous. What, were they in there for like half an hour?! Actual bank robbers would want to be in and out in maybe 2 mins. You don't go in blasting guns into the ceiling and grabbing hostages and then have a huge shootout in the back without attracting TONS of attention. You grab the cash and go.
If that were real there would have been like a thousand cops outside and Kate could never have escaped.

So are those Halliburton cases supposed to be 100% waterproof? I've seen them advertised as weather and moister "resistant".
Could one spend weeks underwater with no leakage?

When Jack opened the case, I only noticed one gun and some boxes of ammo. Did anyone else see more guns. I already erased this from my DVR so I can't check.
Cause Kate said "four" guns were inside.

The ammo boxes said NATO 9mm
115 grn? FMJ
For Law Enforcement Purposes Only
Not For Resale
If this was supposed to be the marshall's case, why would he be travelling with four handguns?

And if it was his case, why would she even know what was inside?

A side by side comparison is definitely in order:

The second pic I posted of Evangeline makes Shannon look like Larry King.

Yeah, I'm Chinese

To each of their own I guess. I don't get the when I see Shannon. She's not bad looking or have a bad body. There is nothing unique about her like how Kate's eyes catches my attention.

A slightly disappointing episode considering it was the first to air after a long hiatus, but good to see that some of the Boone/Locke storyline mentioned. I won't complain too much as this is one of the better shows on the air and next week's episode looks rather good.

Now, what's with Kate and the airplane? It couldn't have been the guy she gunned down during the robbery that has her melancholy. She did that without blinking an eye.

Great picture of Evangeline.

My wife said of her, "She's gorgeous, but 'approachable' gorgeous." I thought that an apt description.

And yeah, screen caps are good.

I would go with Shannon over Kate, but for some reason, I don't think that I will have to make the choice anytime soon

I couldn't find anyplace that said 100% waterproof. They do have lifetime guarantee (whatever that means) that didn't cover abuse. It didn't say anything about water though.

Here is the pitch:
The strength and durability of these cases has been proven in actual use around the world. They are dust and weather resistant, and every case is strong enough to stand on, thanks to specially heat-treated shells. Despite this, even the largest attaché case weighs only 8 pounds.
Here is the Warranty:

Guaranteed for Life

All ZERO Halliburton travel cases are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty

ZERO Halliburton Limited Warranty

The original purchaser of a ZERO Halliburton case is covered by a LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY against defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, abrasions, or dents; nor product damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or damage by airlines or other carriers, or from accident.

ZERO Halliburton disclaims liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages are not permitted by some states and this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Warranty rights vary from state to state; and, therefore, you may have other rights in addition to those provided by this warranty.

I see it now too.

While Shannon is attractive, Evangeline is memorably beautiful.

I was going to resist this part of the conversation, but then I hit submit.
