I agree that Lockes' eyes in the dream were black and white. Shiny, rock-like black and white, like the bacjgammon pieces he showed polar bear boy way back when.
I'm a little worried that they are blowing their load. I mean, I expected to meet the 'French Woman" in season 3! What are they going to keep coming up with if this show lasts 2-3 more years? The Mosquitoes? TikiHeads?

We really have no idea if the guy was full of BS or crazy or just making it up etc etc.. We have NO idea what his end game really was or why he said what he was saying, no details were really given..
Now if he had said some real pin point info with people's names, how she will met a doc named Jack, some rocker, a fat guy and how a zombie t-rex, wait ok never mind the t-rex part
would go after her and so on THEN it might be the show looking to show he really had some psychic powers, breaking the whole "Everything is scientifically possible" theme.. As it stands now we had a guy who clamed to be a psychic, guessed a few ball park thing about a girl and then said "Go do this...". Just because we sit here thinking he might of had some insight does not show he did..
Over all, great ep this time..

The guy playing Ethan is Tom Cruise's cousin in real life. Just a bit of useless trivia. I hope he doesn't kill Claire or Charlie. They're my two favorite characters!!!
I loved when Charlie was trying to count off Claire's contractions: "One...sugarplum fairy....two..."
I think I'll use that from now on and irritate people.

In any event, he's creepy.

I think the guy said his name was Ethan Ro, not Rome as people are posting.
The title of the ep was "Raised by Another".
Ethan Ro is an anagram of Another.

Can somebody do me a huge favor and recap last night episode for me? Please!!!
Dammit, I came home sick from work, took a cold medicine and nap and end it up sleeping through the night.
Now I know the meaning of pain, waking up at 6:00 am on Thursday morning and realizing that you missed a new episode of Lost. Aaaahhhh!

There should be a nugget up by noon, and a all-inclusive recap in four days or so...

Damn, this show's getting good! (yes, I know it was good from the start)

I doubt Ethan=Alex. He's in his late 30's, too old to be the son of Frenchie. Not to mention his accent.
BTW, Ethan debuted last week, he only had a couple lines but I noticed him because I recognized the actor from his film roles.
Also, did Hurley specifically say that it was Ethan who was not on the manifest, or did they just cut right to him implying that was the case?
I agree that the business with the psychic stretches the "scientific" angle the producers have been claiming for the show. If they allow that, pretty much anything goes from here on out.

Damn, what a great show.
The psychic angle puts a new spin on things, and I still think a logical scientific storyline could work in conjunction.
No matter how much it is implied, there is really no way to prove the guy was really psychic, knew the plane would crash, etc. Sure, the implications are there, but I think it's just to add a creepy layer to things.
I love Kate bigtime, but man oh man: Claire
