1-2 days per episode.

You can draw a line through it from episode 1 for a time line since the crash - at least an assumed one.

Do you think that the fact that two characters are named after philosophers has any significants?

I can just see it: the two of them, hand in hand, walking slowly down the beach...their sillhouetes against the sunset as the sountrack plays Bill Hicks' Chicks Dig Jerks...

What a damn fine episode. I was rolling at that close up of Jack and Michael which seemed to suggest it was something serious. I knew what was coming but still laughed at the reveal.

Not enough Sun and Kate, but gratuitous sun-bathing Shannon makes up for it.

once again, a very solid episode. has anyone found shots of shannon in the bikini yet? the thing that i wonder about, is how long will we have to wait for the big reveal? if this show keeps going in the ratings, can the show still be successful once they find out where they really are?

Hey, everyone knew the Titanic was going to sink in the end but you know what happened to that movie's box-office right? ;)

I think I figured it out. That new character with the rash that was introduced this week is probably Alex.

crankyman 11-19-04 07:53 AM

sawyer and shannon will probably hook up. as she's shallow and he has stuff hidden away that she wants.

Since Danielle has been on the island for 16 years, and she asked where her child was, I'm going to place my bet (and agree with the previous posters) on Hurley being Alex. In 16 years, Hurley could fit as he appears to be rather young.

Hurley is NOT Alex:

How does a person growing up on an Island for the last 16 years know about Star Wars?

Where's that lost link with all the screen grabs?

Here's the one I was talking about:

Not the most work-friendly since you can see her butt.

treszoks 11-19-04 08:36 AM

It's obvious, Alex is a whispering TRex!

Hurley is obviously Alex. Star Wars came out well over 20 years ago.

Ted The Bug 11-19-04 09:20 AM

How does someone growing up on a deserted island get so big?

Also, they haven't stated what year it is on the show. It could take place in the 90s or the 2010s for all we know

By eating an entire polar bear in one sitting.

And how does a person growing up on an Island for the last 16 years know about setting up a golf course? And how to use a Discman? I don't think Hurley is Alex.

Of course they did. But how old is Hurley? 22? So that would make him 6 when he came to the island? It isn't likely that he'd know much about golf, unless he played it religiously when he was a young boy.

B.A. 11-19-04 10:11 AM

Enough of this Hurley/Alex bullshit!!!!

Let's get back to the most important topic of the ep - Shannon and her bikini. :D

By the way - thanks for the screen-caps. Most kind of you guys.

Red Dog 11-19-04 10:14 AM

Don't let the FCC see that screen cap.

Big Boy Laroux 11-19-04 10:24 AM

damn nice screencap...

those pics have been viewed like twice as many times on that screencap website...
