Steel was definitely there, but not the "Steel" from Superman, but rather the Steel from Justice League Detroit. The cyborg guy. The dead guy.

Booster Gold was also definitely there. Couldn't miss him. Don't believe me? I'll break you with my bare hands!!

Did anyone else check out the planned Voice Over people for this season? They seem to be staking up on the "hey, I know this voice...damn it I know this voice!"(what went through my head whenever Cap. Atom spoke) type of people.

Was OK- Could have been from last season tho.

It would have been a nice two-parter if they based it more on the original story. They should have had the whole League be defeated by Mongul, then have Supes beat him.

Who is Mongul? He looked an awful lot like Darkseid.

They introduced him in Season 1 Episode WarWorld.

He held some intergalactic gladiator fight and forced Supes to fight in it. Supes later defeated him and kicked him off the planet.

Look here

Ahhhh. Wasn't that Darkseid's son? All these comic book shows are running together.

Nope, you're thinking of Orion of the New Gods.

And by the by... this was a fantastic episode!! It adapted what is probably my favorite Superman story in a wonderful manner, lightening it up for TV without sacrificing its potency.

Hooray! Hooray for the Good Guys!! Was that William Hung singing on Teen Titans?

Loved this ep as well.

As for Teen Titans, don't think that was William Hung. Just was the guy playing Larry/Nosyarg KciD/Robin's doppelganger, I think.

One question about the ep, btw:

Was this the first time we've seen WW's invisible jet? Don't remember seeing it before, but I can barely remember what happened last week, let alone over the last 2 years.

I'm pretty sure it was the first time we've seen it. They've been showing alot of new toys so far.

So do we have an ID on this Supergirl yet? I just finished reading Crisis on Infinite Earths and that was a pretty good way to handle her. Though I have to disagree with the author's comments in the beginning about how they killed her and Krypto and whatnot to simplify Supes and make him more lonely. IMHO, having the only other survivor be his cousin and "untouchable" is almost Greek drama-ish. Though I suspect a Greek drama would have them shag nonetheless.

Didn't catch last night's ep, will it repeat today? The one with the nuclear bot was pretty good.

I won't go so far as to say it sucked, but it wasn't that good
if there was ever a reason to justify having the entire DC comic book universe in one show this villian was it
then they have the cop out ending.
they better have green lantern incase the guy in a force field and hurl him into the sun while he has the plant on

I wasn't a huge fan of the theme last week but this week I actually sort of liked it. And anyway, what's wrong with cartoons from the '80s?

In last season's finale she somewhat unintentionally betrayed the Justice League to make way for the hawk people to destroy Earth.

This week's episode was taken from one of my favorite Alan Moore Superman stories. It didn't quite live up to it's origin, but was still pretty good.

I guess it's taken a really long time to occur to me but, where's Wonder Woman's lasso?

I liked the latest episode - kind of an alternate history story, which I enjoy. The Invisible Jet was pretty cool looking.
