Justice League Unlimited
I'm just wondering how the hell they are going to pull this off. Its the most damn superheroes Ive seen in one place ever.
So is it going to be like an episode with a couple of them and then we don't see them again for 6 months while all the rest of them get an episode?

Supergirl on another animated show gets my vote on super cool. the format will have an older member training a newer member in episodes so that way you get the most heros per episode.
I can't wait.

The shot of all the DC Heroes in the JL HQ remined me of a shot they had in Crisis in Infinit Earths.
And the new JL series reminds me of old Super Hereo Teamup comics in the 70s/80s, I always had fun reading those comics. The new show bring back some good memories.

Yeah, I just saw the promo Saturday Morning and my mouth dropped open. I mean come on, Ollie(Green Arrow) is back!
It's about time DC dug deep into it's vast vault of cool heroes.

If you read about the show at tvtome.com it sheds some light on how the show will air. The Martian Manhunter is going to be the leader and heroes from the first two season will lead teams. Right from tvtome.com...
"In the third season, the show was retitled to "Justice League Unlimited" and now the core members, under the guidance of the Martian Manhunter, command teams of specialist heroes brought together to deal with specific crises they are best suited to handling."

The only thing that sucks about this is less Batman, I'm sure.

So I checked the listings and saw that this premiere is a 30-minute episode. Are they going to single 30-minute episodes or are they going to 30-minute 2-parters not shown back to back?

I just hope we see current DC heroes and not mostly "made for tv" heroes.

It looks like all adaptations of existing DC heroes, even some of the more obscure ones, including members of the JSA (atom smasher comes to mind). I mean, they have Aztec, who was admittedly a full fledged member of Morrison's JLA, but is as obscure as they get.
I was always a sucker for the guest appearances of other DC characters in the various animated series. Even though characterization will probably get the short end of the stick, I'm excited. And they're not making the mistake of having a fully rotating cast or having just obscure heroes, they're keeping at least most of the original cast.
I really wish we could get a Legion of Superheroes series next, though with the cancellation of the comic this seems unlikely...

Anyway, to keep this back on topic, CN's official page (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/jlu/) has an episode guide for the entire season. Spoilers abound, just to warn you.

They are going to 30 minute episodes and so far it looks like only the season finale is going to be a 2-parter. It seems ironic that when they're introducing all these new characters is the same time they decide to cut the show's length in half. I'm looking forward to this show, but I feel I'm really going to miss having any character development.
Finally, Mark Waid is relaunching Legion, but he's calling it a reimagining instead, whatever the hell that means.

If you need Batman that bad, there's something like 10 new Batman related comics coming out every month.
