Here's another article on Ken that popped up.

Gotta love the last part of the article.

"[Wife Mindy] asked me what we're going to do with all the money and I told her it's all going to DVDs. I don't think she thought that was too funny," Jennings said.

Has anybody come across his web site of his favorite 2000 movies? I remember hearing on the show that he had put together a list but I can't find it.

Ken posted a link to it on that Television Without Pity board. I went looking for it but that thread is so long I gave up after a few minutes. It's actually a list of his top 10 films from 2004 to 1920.

I couldn't believe the first half of todays show. For awhile there I thought he was gonna run the entire board. It's getting harder to believe they aren't purposely setting him up with lower quality contestants.

It's not that fun anymore to see Ken clean up and be the obious winner before they even get to Double Jepardy. I want to see shows where someone is in range of him for a good part of it.

Found through the magic of google: http://jenningsbaby.8m.com/

I wonder how he came up with the movies in red. For 1926, he doesn't list any movies he's seen, but a bunch of movies in red.

Man, looking through anything else except the top 10 is overwhelming. He sure does consider a lot of movies noteworthy.

Top Ten Ways To Irritate Alex Trebek

10. "Ask him on air, "So who did your botox?"

9. "Instead of responding, get his attention by throwing nickels at his head"

8. "Buzz in without using your hands"

7. "Give Courtney Love directions to his house"

6. "Whenever he says the word "potpourri, " you mumble, "woman"

5. "Tell him he's no wink martindale"

4. "Remind him that although he's a naturalized citizen, he'll always be a product of the evil Canadian empire"

3. "Complain that he's not nearly as Trebek-y in person"

2. "Your only response: "Who gives a rat's ass?"

1. "Insist on buying a vowel"

Buzzer speed. Aside from the Utah question (ironically), I knew the answer to every question in the first 4 categories. He just has the Jeopardy! rhythm down, and if you've ever competed in these things, you know it's often all about rhythm. Once a guy wins the buzzer on 3 questions in a row, it's hard to "jump in" on him. He also smartly buzzes before consciously knowing the answers, assuming he'll know them in the next instant. It's a brief few millisecond window, but it's just enough. He doesn't wait until that impulse comes that tells him he knows the answer. He just tries to time the buzzer. Every once in a while he gets caught not knowing what to say, but in the first round the questions are so easy that it's worth the risk.

And what's with that stupid "Who Was President When?" category, in Double Jeopardy no less where you don't get a warning? As if the whole answer/question thing weren't silly enough, now it's question/question?

das

Exactly - I've read in multiple places that the really good Jeopardy players are those who can get the timing down to ring in. Otherwise, you're sitting there like a bump on the log while the other person rings in ahead of you on the easy questions and you're left to just guess at the hard ones.

I am surprised he didn't answer the film related 'Tora Tora Tora' question as quickly as he usually does last night.

Today's result:

Spoiler:
Jennings wins again, and now has over $1,000,000! Although he got the final Jeopardy answer wrong, he ended up with $32,000 for the day, and his grant total is $1,004,960!

COOL. That means the rumor (that he won 29 times, then lost on a mis-pronounciation) was false, since yesterday was number 29. Now, I have to stop reading the spoilers so I don't know when he really loses.

And the beat goes on. That was a very good FJ question. I was thinking somehow 1945 had to be one of them, so I guessed 1940 with it. I thought of the Moon Landing for '69 but couldn't put that together with Nixon resigning. How dumb was the chick - putting 2 years that are only 4 years apart.

My two thoughts were 9/11 (same as Ken, I assume; but I figured it was probably just a picture) and Moon Landing, but I couldn't put it together in time either. Great question.

I originally thought about 1940 and 1945 but then realized that the category was Headlines of the last 40 years, so that couldn't work. I did not put the two together. A very good and tough FJ.

I missed the '40 years apart' so I got it wrong too.

What else is there to say about Ken other than the man's a machine. I always enjoy his banter with Alex.
