I'd never hit a woman, but for Frankie I would probably make an exception...

You know Frankie is not going home. She's the type to make this big drama about going home to get attention....but not go home. Drama-queen. People like that you have to ignore, don't feed into their bs.

Frankie sucks and needs to take her phony whiny ass home. That drunk coyote ugly chick sucks too... although she does make for comic relief.

I'm Asian too and I probably have eyes like that too.

Clearly they're both Asian. I'm not saying all Asians look alike I just think the eyes on these TWO are very similar.

Well it's about damn time we got some significant footage on Jamie. But they stiff f'ed it up. We only got part of the story. What's the background between Jamie & her parents? Again, her & Ja seem to be the only roomies to have their heads on straight.

And next week looks like the ep NOT to miss. Jamie in her halloween costume

I missed the beginning of the season, so I assumed that there was some background with Jamie and her parents that I missed... Apparently not.

In which case, wow. That's just insane she didn't know her father was retired, much less the other various questions. I think it's admirable that Jamie wishes to work on her Korean more, but I have to wonder why her parents never learned English. I'll admit I'm severely unknowledgable about the Korean-American culture, but I can't imagine a parent being content with that level of communication with their own child.

Regarding Frankie, her cousin has been posting at TWOP for quite a while now... Given those posts, I came to the conclusion Frankie was dramatically different at home. Either she was on the border of totally losing it last night, or she is even worse with her immediate family. Considering how her sister talked, it sounds like the latter is the case. Sad the effect it looks like it's having on the entire family, especially the sister.

Depending on how old you are, acquiring another language fluently is kind of tough, especially if your offspring are immersed in the new language that you are trying to learn. I find it hard talking to my mom on trivia matters, so discussing complex matters with her is a chore, and after a while, you just don't do as much communicating as you would if your parents speak fluently the common language and get the nuance of the language being spoken.

I always wondered about the language barrier between generations. I'm Japanese, and my dad was born here too and only speaks English, but I'm pretty sure my grandparents spoke mostly Japanese.

Anyway, for another take on a Korean family, see Lane and her mom Gilmore Girls. Stereotypical, maybe, but hilarious nonetheless.

missed the episode, but yea Frankie is definately the most annoying real world cast member in a long time. shes only bitching because of 2 reasons,

1. wah wah wah shes away from her boyfriend. her possibly only friend in the entire world. if she knew she was going to be away from her boyfriend for a long while, why sign up for the show.

2. she is in a house where she must make friends with people she probably wouldn't even talk to out of the show. I think thats lame and ignorant. it seemed like the only people she could get to know were people like her (that dude adam), and now that she is in a social situation where she has to step out of her little bubble, she bitches.

yea i hope she goes home.
