I guess it's time to start a thread for tonight's ep.

From TV Guide:

Spoiler:

The president is ordered to leave L.A., and asks the press to help maximize public safety; Jack gives Jane a crash course on her father; the virus affects another CTU operative

What's wrong with starting the thread before the show is on? It'll build up the DVD Talk hype!

I've seen threads started a day or more before the episode is shown. *shrug* So what?

I'm really looking forward to this one! I wonder if Jack will threaten to torture Saunders' daughter? heh

Last week the thread didn't get started until after it had aired on the East Coast. I just figured we'd get the ball rolling before the show this week.

AAIK, there's no policy here that says you can't start a TV thread early. All that's required is spoiler tags until the show airs. That and no threadcraps.

Nah. Kim is not going to die. She's too cute looking to die.

How much better would this series be if Kim would have been the one to die instead of her mom? There would be great tension between Jack and his wife, there would be no Kim , there would be potential for another amnesia, but that would beat the cougar trap.

What happened to Kim's hair? It has been awful the whole season and I think it looks better now but it's so much shorter.

I was actually punching my couch on that one.

Spoiler:
Tony is such a punk.

Also, even if he did what he did, he should have then told Jack that Saunders was going out the back way. They could have easily snagged him.

Good episode. Michelle dodged one bullet and then come under another one. Wonder if Jack will forgive Tony for that.

Spoiler:
If Tony tell Jack about Saunders and Saunders got caught, I'm sure Michelle would be dead. That's why Saunders gave Tony an ultimatum. Tony decide to save his own wife at the expense of letting the bad guy get away.

Considering how many times Jack's family has been in harm, probably not

The overly dramatic "something bad will happen to me after this good news" scene with Michelle ... not one, but two, obvious red herrings with Kim ... a train!?! This whole episode was setup to try and fake out the audience, but it was so heavy-handed that none of it worked. It was also really disappointing to see them take Tony's character this way just for some silly "shocking" ending. Tony's going to risk deadly national outbreak to save his wife? Sure. Why not. No sense protecting thousands of innocent civilians (and children) when you can temporarily save the eye of a trained agent who's willing and prepared to die.

das

Who hear thinks that with the events of tonight...

Speculation on season 4 of 24
Spoiler:
Tony and Michelle will not be in Season four of 24? There is no way that Tony will be working for CTU after he sacraficed the safety of the nation for his wife. Hell Jack flat out killed Chappelleto preserve the safety of the nation earlier. No way that Tony survives this one. And if Tony is gone I assume that Michelle will follow.

Hahahahahaha!

Now THAT was a predictable "twist."

Hopefully Saunders manipulated the test results, and Michelle is actually infected, and will spread the virus to all the idiots at CTU.

Saunders made Tony move the 5-man team. He was just lucky that the other 35 went along to the front of the building as well.
