I think Quentin was really upset with her. At first, the jabs were playful, but then it was like the claws came out. When Jimmy said KB2 made 27 mil, Laura quickly said '25'. And Quentin just wouldn't let up that Kill Bill was doing better than Punisher.
Great stuff.

Was that before or after she sucked on her finger...

Trust me, they will be gone soon enough. Bands like the darkness get old fast, thankfully.

I caught this thread last night, and the when the viewing guide said The Darkness was on, I said "Great, Charlie Murphy is on Kimmel tonight"

I was so disappointed.
good one.

Anyways, if anybody finds out when this episode is on in a re-run, post it here! I'd love to see it.

I must be in the minority, because I just found it to be really annoying. Some of the bits were funny, but Kimmel's not talented enough to pull off this stuff, and Tarantino's constant interruptions just started to grate on my nerves. Sometimes he makes it really hard to be a fan of his. Good concept, I guess ... it just seemed to fall flat.

I agree with you das, but I still enjoyed it. I'm glad QT tries different stuff, and if he falls flat here, then that's better than his next movie sucking. When he was on Conan, I thought the three stooges skit was pretty lame, although I'm not sure if he had anything to really do with that. Like I said, better he stinks here than with a film.

Can't believe I missed this. They showed footage of it on Access Hollywood tonight. It looked crazy as hell.

So how many Tarantino references were there last night?

1. We had the "out of order" sequencing.
2. The black and white opening.
3. The crew in the "control booth" all wearing the Crazy 88 masks.
4. The uncle wearing the Pai Mei costume.
5. The announcer dressed up like The Gimp.
6. The entire band dressed up in black and white suits.
7. Dick Dale helping out the band.
8. The Reservoir Dogs parody in the beginning.
9. The Pumpkin/Honey Bunny spoof at the end.
10. The "Bad Mother ****er" wallet changed to "Bad Mamba Jamba."
11. Everyone shooting each other at the end and only one man survivng. <--- Also the most thing of the night.

Anything else I missed?
