I hate to say it, (and I will contiune to watch the show) this season has sucked overall. I could take Kim's bad acting/situations, Chloe however is the worst. Along with all the dropped plot-lines and everything else, this show has lost it.

Mulder, are you suggesting....oh, never mind!

I'll agree with that. What ever happend to these things:

-Controversy over Miliken's death?
-The Presidential debate?
-The baby? (that could be left alone though)

I'm sure there's more.

eh.. this show is called 24 meaning it happens in a 24 hour period. How much stuff can get resolved in that amount of time. Makes sense that alot of it will get resolved offscreen.

^^ exactly. Isn't it somewhere around 7 in the morning? Most people are just waking up around that time.

..Milliken's death.. it has only been a few hours. The LAPD couldn't solve the O.J. case in 6 years(well ever). What makes you think they can solve this one in a day?

Alright, I guess it's overexpectation on my part that some of these storylines are more than just cliffhangers.

This is a family drama. Oh wait, I thought I was in the Soprano's thread.

What about Jack's addition. That should come back into play. He took pills to curb it, but that was in Mexico many hours back.

Oh I'm sure the addiction is not yet out of the picture, it'll rear it's head again this season or maybe next

Sherri Palmer is going to be in the final four episodes...so it's possible that storyline will be continued and resolved. There's no cliffhangers this season...so don't expect any MAJOR questions to be left hanging. I wouldn't be surprised to see a big cast turnaround next season...possibly a new president (I still keep hoping they'll do a "Tom Clancy/Jack Ryan" thing and have Jack become President after a huge disaster!)

Refering to the quote above...
Spoiler:
Debt of Honor was a good book. If is does happen that Pamler is no longer President next season then I sure hope that something happens to him this season. It's really missing the boat to just open next season and have some lame line about Palmer losing the election.

I'm fine with no cliffhangers this year. The last two were never really explained anyhow. We don't know who Nina was working for in season 1 (although we can speculate), and the attack on Palmer at the end of season 2 seems to have no bearing on this year other than a couple lines devoted to an explanation in the first couple of episodes.
