"Friends", way overrated.

No offense but this has to fall into that "childish backlash since it is popular category," this can hardly be considered the worst show of all time. It is a culteral phenomenon and one of the three biggest shows of the 90's (Seinfeld, ER, Friends).

Come 'on! People watch it because NBC suckered you into it.
I tried watching it and it didn't do it for me. Then it got popular and I gave it another shot. Still don't get it (same situation with Survivor BTW).
I have friends and cousins who watch it, but I find it too annoying and stupid to sit through it. I think it all boils down to me just not liking the characters-- they can barly act, and if you don't belive it then check back in a year when none of them have a career.
Sorry if my opinion bothers you, but "Friends" is not a friend of mine.

Full House & Family Matters for egregiously recycling the same old plot lines & gags from older/classic shows and ESPECIALLY for airing far longer than it should have. i think Dave Coulier said it best and WAY too often: (replete w/ matching hand gestures) "Cut... it... out!"
Small Wonder & The Charmings for basing an entire T.V. show on a concept/theme that would've made for a somewhat decent SHORT SNL skit.
Cop Rock. Bochco's innovative concept of a musical drama - hey, i couldn't get into it when it was called OPERA. Sing, Fat Lady, sing!

Nearly Departed -- the short-lived 1989 sitcom starring Eric Idle and an on-screen wife as a pair of ghosts haunting the fat guy from "Not Necessarily The News" and his family. So painfully awful, so filthy, so embarassingly abysmal, I felt sorry for everyone involved in the show and their ancestors.
Anyone else remember this wet, sloppy fart of an excuse for programming?

(That was also the episode where Joey Lawrence did that music video, though...)

Can't be the worst show on television, because it co-starred the one and only Conrad McFreakinMasters: Clarence Gilyard, Jr.
"'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring ... except for the four as*holes coming in the rear in standard two-by-two cover formation."

There was a time when I literally watched every single series on Fox. It's kind of funny skimming through some of the schedules and seeing how short-lived so many of these shows were.

Yup.
Down and Out in Beverly Hills, The New Adventures of Beans Baxter, Mr. President (and since I was all of 9, I guess, when it premiered, I spent my life associating George C. Scott with Patton and this short-lived show; by the same token, I thought it was strange that Kevin Conroy was tagged to do the voice of Batman, thinking, "why did they hire the guy from Rachel Gunn, RN?), Women in Prison... I genuinely had no taste back then. Arguably still don't.

Man... A lot of you guys just don't get the thread do ya? This isnt the... "I dont like/I hate the following" show. This is the thread that talks about TV shows that make you do a Mr Burns Shudder of Revulsion when you hear them.
And my nominee for All Time Worst, is, hands down:
The Powers of Matthew Star
I shudder each and every time I remember that show.
Sad confession time however. I was about 10 when that show was on the air, and I liked it as a kid. I knew it has horrid (even at that young of an age, I was getting smart about TV), but I couldn't help my self. It was just about the only SF/F around at the time.

This was an abomination of human endeavor. The only show I could see that could require therapy after viewing. May Bob Saget rot in eternal damnation in the fiery pits of Hell.
