What the hell was that?!
Fabio? Huh? Gil storming out over fabio?!
What was he upset because he also was attracted to fabio?
That has got to be the worst twist yet of these shows.
It's really obvious the producers had to add something on to make up for larissa proving what a shallow person she really is by picking gil over brian.
I bet everyone watching called larissa a bitch once she made her choice. I wonder what it feels like to have millions of people yell out the word "Bitch!" to you while you are on screen. Must be fun. She's a pretty good actress, that one. Gil, and his fledging actor career won't go anywhere. No One, I mean no one gets upset over fabio!

Fabio.....no one would have guessed. Though the way Gil reacted, it sounded as if Larissa told him that she had a schlong.
Btw, what was the problem Gil had with Fabio? Call me ignorant, but I didn't quite catch on. Was it that difficult to see past that and go on...I mean c'mon...he got the girl now which is what should matter more.
So I guess this is the last Average Joe formula? Too bad Brian didn't win. I was rooting for him. Glad to see Larissa all alone now. Just goes to show you that women are just as shallow as guys

That Fabio "twist" was soooooo lame.
At least there's a positive for Brian: upon his return to Boston, he's going to get a metric ton of sympathy tail.
"You're the most interesting person I've ever met...but you're not cut."
And is it wrong for me to feel when she got rejected (even though that was a totally stupid reason for Gil to reject her)?

Gil didn't really like her to begin with I dont' think. From what they showed he's not over his ex and he was only in it to get an acting career. He probably couldn't wait to get out of there.

Wow...that ending was so horribly bad, I laughed almost TOO much...she should have gone back to Brian! Ooh, and I especially liked the split screen effect where her face transitioned into an iron. Nice touch.

I can't blame her for not picking Brian, but she should have just turned them both down. Brian is a good guy, but just from the way he kissed her you could see the physical compatibility wasn't there - he needs to find a woman that he won't be in such awe of, so that he can be a man for her. Gil wasn't interested in her in the first place, he had stars in his eyes for Hollywood, and he is the emotional equivalent of what Jim was intellectually - remember Jim's blank stare whenever they weren't making out? Gil had a blank heart.

So sad she didn't pick Brian. I was almost certain she would pick him.
I also don't get why Gil get so upset over her dating Fabio. It doesn't make sense. Does anyone remember a few episodes ago when the jocks were introduced to Larissa, she mentioned that she has never dated guys who look so good?

very strange/silly ending.
It was obvious they were telling a story.
However, I assumed the story was going to be:
Shallow girl in the beginning (her hidden camera reaction to the average Joes) learns to let the nice guy into her heart and falls "in love with him".
It turned out the story was:
Girl is still shallow, and the jokes on her because the guy she chooses doesn't like her anyway and is even more shallow/self-concous that he coudn't take the fact that she dated Fabio.
I'm suprised they chose that as the story to tell.
Because on the date at Gil's home town it was obvious he didn't care for her (and to her as well with the "I want to be an actor" out of this experience).
So it could have been EASILY setup as the nice average JOe wins the girl story if they wanted it to be. (who cares what would happen after the fact).
The Gil/Larissa break up seemed way to quick and staged.
With the voice overs it just almost looked planted and an easy out for everyone. But still too absurd to make up I guess.
