Yep, they aired the raemaining episodes in July. It's done. You didn't miss anything. The two-hour finale was a rehash of the previous episodes and even itself (it literally showed probably 10 minutes of footage twice). You didn't miss much. I'm a huge SK fan, but Kingdom Hospital was just bad.

A month of so back, they aired all the remaining episodes. At this point you'll have to buy it on DVD or rent it.

ABC was sort of killing the show from the get go because there was always so much advertising in each hour that the show never contained more that 22 min of real content which is a 30 min show IMO.

Maybe they should find a few decent shows like Line of Fire or Karen Sisco and stick with them and build an audience, rather than picking up some of the pure crap they run. Based on ABCs logic, I have yet to figure out why Alias is still on.

Cause they have nothing else. then again they are pretty stupid to go head to head with other shows like they do. They should find an empty night and build off that with average shows.

Anybody see "Kingdom Hospital" miniseries?
Just curious if it was pretty good.

seemed like a lot of people dropped off the show after a few episodes. It really wasn't all that great. I would much rather go with the Original.

I watched almost all of them (until ABC started shuffling it around the schedule and dropping it completely until they burned off the final eps sometime in the summer). It was okay, just seemed like very little happened from episode to episode. It might be better on DVD without all the commerical breaks and the "previously on" clips which made it feel like each episode had a 35-40 running time. I'd rent it.
Any word on the original coming to Region 1 DVD now that this version is in the morgue?

I typically don't like these types of network miniseries as it is, so I'm not really the target audience, but I thought it was pretty terrible. The way it aired on ABC (not to mention the overpromotion) made it even worse. I was surprised to see it positively reviewed on the site. It seems to me that the only audience who needs to see this are those who saw the original and are curious what was changed.
Again, though, I usually find these things silly while others seem to like them for reasons I don't get, so if you typically like this stuff, maybe you'll enjoy it. I imagine it has to be better on DVD than the way ABC showed it.

Too spread out. If they had chopped it down to a mini-series the size of The Stand it might have worked. Then again, talking anteaters usually don't bode well in any setting...

I watched the first episode, then got behind when I had 2 or 3 episodes on tape (didn't have the Tivo at the time), so I stopped watching. I'm a big Stephen King fan, so I was a bit intrigued, but didn't lose any sleep not watching it. I'll be renting the DVDs at some point...
