Most people who give this show a shot become fans because of the writing and the chemistry of the cast. Plus seeing Dinozo getting bested on a weekly basis is fun.

Well, got a chance to watch an episode of NCIS in HD, and it looked better than an earlier episode I caught in HD.

Loved it when McGee grew a pair and told the Director to "stick it" on Gibbs' orders. Then getting high-5s from the rest of the crew in A/V room was pretty good stuff.

Didn't realize how tiny Frank Whaley was until seeing him next to Tony. Kate has more feelings towards Tony than she wants to admit, and Gibbs really doesn't want to hear about them.

I think he was getting it ready to fire during the conversation before the guy tried to cut him.

Loved the "Kate the shitzu, brown hair, kinda mangy" comments!!

yeah that was pretty good

Anyone think Gibbs and Abby are somehow related or something? He acts the nicest generally towards her, unless she starts rambling. Plus, he usually brings her something, pinches her on the cheek, or gives her a lil kiss.

Really enjoyed this episode.

McGee is turning into a pretty good character. Good to see him "in charge"

Nice to see "General Hammond" back on the tube as the communications guy.

Good to see Tony get to do some good work.

Kate the "shitzu" - really funny.

either that or he realizes he'd be helpless on most cases without her.

if the guy didn't trust Tony, which was evident by him putting the knife on the floorboard, why did he give him a gun?

Because he didn't quite expect Tony to reveal himself before the deal, so he was still concerned that he needed some backup during the deal, and gave him a gun with live ammo, dumb, but I guess that's how it went down.

I love this cast, particularly Sasha Alexander. Her reaction to the stranger telling the shitzu story was awesome.

And McGee standing up to the Asst. SecState was great, too.

Ncis 1/11 **spoilers **

Okay, I pegged the detective as the bad guy from about the 10 minute mark, so not much of a mystery, but this episode is still one of my favorites for the following reasons:

"I thought they divorced me because I was a bastard."

Abby's stockings

Kate in that dress.

Kate in that dress, giving Abby a neck rub. (NCIS slash fanfic anyone?)

"You're Catholic, aren't you?"

Have to agree with Kate in the dress. I'm surprised DiNozzo didn't jump her from behind his desk. I know I would've.

I wonder how much longer they are going to build up the tension between Kate and Tony. As much as she would like to deny it - she wants to jump his bones...and you know he wouldn't say no.

title purposely lower case as protest to the forum filter
Gibbs: "they called two days ago, why call back?"
he obviously has never dealt with a telemarketer. they have called me every day for a week before

Really enjoyed the parallels between Jethro and his unit as well as with the local cops.

The parallels between the two units was great. Even though it was corny and cheesy as hell - they still pulled it off perfectly.

I love Sasha Alexander.

I loved the "duplicate" cop unit, they did that really well (although they didn't really seem to use the chick very much).

But McGee translating the computer geek's technobabble to Gibbs, and then translating Gibbs' plain-speak to the computer geek, had me

Good Episode. I like the small changes they made in the cigarette names.

New show: The Meat Puzzle

Very good episode. Not enough Abby, but Tony was funny as hell.
